I think there were more than two rockets. But the bigger wtf for me was that Spock planted the last one INSIDE THE BRIDGE. How TF does that work?

I’m not a fan of Blade Runner, so I haven’t seen the sequel, but my guess is that said sequel was more interesting than what Scott would have offered. So us Alien fans suffered through Covenant (yes, Ridley, I get it, you had a class on Gothic literature in college you really liked) so you Blade Runner fans could get

Oh no, that’s truly unfortunate. Reminds me of when I was expressing my enjoyment of Liev Schreiber to a friend from grad school who worked on Indian literature and was part of the background cast for The Reluctant Fundamentalist, and he said Schreiber was like the biggest diva ever but in the most offensive way.

Now playing

Eddy Burback has a great (if long, 40 minutes long >_> ) video on the whole Ghost Kitchen fiasco, with Mr Beast’s alleged-burgers taking center stage for a good portion of it:

Honestly, I just went looking for some of those infographics of all the upcoming projects and didn’t pay close enough attention. One of them had Jedi: Survivor which is actually a game, and another one had Tales of the Jedi, which is apparently another show that came out but I didn’t know about it. So I guess their

Talos was killed with very little fanfare and it was not cool

Proper controller + screen size makes this more enticing than the smaller Backbone controls and my phone’s smaller screen. But yes, price point will still be key for a limited device.

I never really liked using my phone for Remote play. The screen size is a big issue and all the notifications that pop up that I need to pop up for work. The other issue is comfort, I tried the Backbone, Razer Kishi, & a controller phone mount, but the with the Backbone & Kishi my hand would cramp. The controller phone

WTF, why didn’t they just break the driver (or passenger) window and open the door instead of bashing the front windshield and handing the baby through the broken glass??

Ha! At first I thought “get a backbone” was an insult.

My phone is too small for me to play on.

On the other hand, my laptop is kind clunky to be hauling around, but still a better deal than this thing if is much over $200.

I’ll jump on this one.

I gave the backbone a shot and it’s just not great? I have to take my phone out of the case every time it got used and the streaming to it was pretty lackluster. In a house with a very good wireless network and a PS5 that is on LAN sitting in the same room the performance on my iPhone 14 pro was

Wtf is this sentence. This isn’t even a typo, did you even spend 2 minutes to read your post or did a crappy ChatGPT competitor spit this out:

I thought we all knew that once they announced the sequel back when it first was announced? It feels like we’ve known it for years I mean. Maybe it’s some sort of MCU time-distortion, but I feel like I’ve known that for 2-3 years?

Yeah, I have to say I wasn’t annoyed by the Illuminati getting taken out — I wasn’t happy about it, but it made sense in showing the hubris of that particular group. It didn’t do anything to diminish Atwell’s What If run, either.

I was annoyed? Didn’t know that.

I was meant to be annoyed that a scene served the story being told, rather than stroking an actor’s ego or giving the audience another 10 minutes of mindless fanservice action to squee over?

Terrible take.  Like ‘cancel your account’ bad take.

Bad take is bad, feel bad.

Don’t forget “grabbing an oil tanker to use as a baseball bat to slam a kaiju”. Also, mad props to Idris Elba for making “Today, we are cancelling the apocalypse!” sound like an actually badass line and not the absolute high camp it actually is.

Pacific Rim had a lot of things going for it but its soundtrack really stands out. I loved the fact that Ramin Djawadi threw in the leitmotif for Godzilla (The 1954 one) so casually…
