Oh, sure, I know all that. Honestly, even my CAUTIOUS optimism seems rose-colored.

“...comes closer to Earth and its _gravitational field_”????
I’m not defending Marvel — Marvel can go fuck themselves for all I care (pay your writers and your SFX artists, fuckers) — but when people say “Nobody is watching these movies anymore because of how interconnected they are” well, that’s, uh, pretty stupid.
Mixed feelings on this. As an Asian American and superhero fan, I was really rooting for Shang-Chi to succeed and enjoyed it. However, I also felt it was a bit of a by-the-numbers Marvel film, and while they did a pretty good job of bringing a lot of Hong Kong action and fantasy elements to mainstream American…
Sorry hate to break it to you but the general audience, whom are the people who matter the most are getting sick of the MCU, multiverses, comic book movies in general.
After the third Avengers movie, that was it; it was all babble to her, and I have to admit, me too.
It would be parody if it featured characters like “Catman” and “the Jokester”. This is just unauthorized use.
In case you missed it (and most people did miss it), check out Confess, Fletch. Hamm is as good in the role as Chase was and the movie fits in really well with the resurgence of whodunnits.
Also, I’ll be going out of my way to check this movie out.
What the hell are you talking about? Did you watch the whole movie? She was all bluster, that was the point. Indy sees himself in her, but the arrogant “fortune and glory” version of him from Temple. In the end, she reveals she actually does need him — you know, like when she’s in tears begging him to come back? Her…
It’s been 15 years since the last Indy movie, meaning younger audiences may not know the character
Every movie has reshoots. That’s different than reshooting an entirely different ending.
*Advanced reviews however are saying the “Fake rumors” are .....true.*
No joke, last week I stumbled onto one of those “comicsgate” site and there were a bunch of articles about of Mangold “lied” about them not reshooting the ending after the backlash, because apparently Ford said something about how they shot a few different version of the last couple scenes or something. Now already…
Simmer down, I know you’re hungry too, there’s enough Troll Chow™ for everyone.
The fact that Prodigy was yanked so quickly implies to me that a deal with another streamer is imminent, or at least very likely.
Please kindly explain what about this movie, which is not out yet and you haven’t seen, is pandering.
I think you replied from the wrong account, Mr. Obviously The Same Person I Replied To. The fact that you think having a woman in a movie who is maybe important as something other than a love interest is “MESSAGE pandering” says everything about your level of discernment that I need to hear.
This is a truly terrible take. You’re aware that most movies aren’t made because fans specifically called for a certain plot to be made, and the filmmakers just do it, right? That’s idiotic. And PWB is incredibly likeable in everything I’ve ever seen her in. Sorry your action heroes can only ever be men. Must be a sad…
Anson Mount had a child when they were starting to film the season so they accomodated the storyline to fit his needs.
The lesson I’m taking from this story is: if I buy a load of drugs, find a landlord and get him hooked, I might actually be able to own property one day.
