Yes. Some traditions can really suck. I refused to do the bouquet/garter toss or most of the structured dances at my wedding (just first dance and father/daughter- my dad and I are great dancers and it meant a lot to him :)). I hate being the center of attention and putting people in awkward positions.

Long ago, I was in a wedding and my friend shoved me under where the bouquet was headed. I reacted *appropriately* by trying to dive out of the way and kicking it as I fell down. It exploded. :)
