Honestly, when Brody was killed I swore off watching but once the next season started I got sucked back in, even though I ended up hating that season because the Brody family story line was so pointless. And Carrie and Brody together WAS super annoying.
I think it’s because she rushes to act before taking into consideration that her colleagues are not necessarily working against her, they just have a strategy that is pragmatic and they talk through EVERYTHING and wait and wait and she just wants to pull the trigger and have it be done with.

Homeland has been amazing these last two seasons. As far as I’m concerned, they really could have done without seasons 2 and 3 because they were soooo boring but I am really impressed with how it’s redeemed itself.
