I love this argument tactic. If you can't handle the truth attack people who point out something has better graphics than something else. Maybe if you attack them enough they will stop having an opinion that differs from yours. Though, what is more important, to live in a world of lies that fit your ideal, or to be

Well I mean I think it's up to the individual to decide for themselves if something is a game or not. It's not a game to me, it's just an interactive experience. Since we're debating classifications on a whole though, no, one independent gamers opinion isn't enough for me to change my mind without a good argument as

So it's up to the media to decide what is a game? I disagree. I will not consider things like the stanley parable and gone home games. We're all entitled to our opinions but someone else isn't going to define what is a game for me.

I've been flagging things like "Funny" and "Good Story" and adding tags like "Humor" and "Narrative Driven".

LOL, The Banner Saga currently has the tag "Candy". Well played internet.

If they are going to remove negative or abusive tags they need to remove all opinion related tags. For instance "Fun" should not be allowed to be a tag. If you dont allow negative and positive tags then you make this just another marketing tool for the companies rather than a real user commenting system.

And the first tag to go is "Not a game" which I think was a very useful tag, it showed me what titles to stay away from, seeing as how I hated all the games I played that had "Not a game" as a tag, it stands to reason I wouldn't have liked the other ones either.

Wait, people take care of you and you get to play video games in prison? It sounds like getting to be 13 again. Where do I sign up?

Gone Home not only deserves the "Bad" tag but also "Not a game".

The second email is obvious:

This next year needs to be "Year of the new IP".

It was a Dos game and I bet your computer wasn't configured for Dos properly leaving you with too little base memory for audio.

Haha, I know it makes me feel like throwing up. I wouldn't say that's limited to iPad though, pretty much all mobile games.

The side-by-side comparison comes courtesy of IGN, who ran the upcoming MMO with the graphics turned all the way and all the way down. The advantage of a low setting, of course, is that folks with less robust hardware will still be able to play the game. But, there's no avoiding the fact that doing so leaves you with

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons is an ok choice but Papers, Please did new and wonderful things with gameplay. Seriously the manner in which it doesn't instruct you in some gameplay elements and makes you figure them out for youself is an amazing organic experience that I've never seen done in a game before.

"Plus, the few that I do game with can kick my ass in those games."

Not a right to join my private club though.

I feel more like the customer is getting less product just so companies can save a nickel than I do excited about shitty digital manuals.

There is a difference between a simmer and a gamer. This tech is not important for gaming. .. Nor desired by gamers.

I would have to play them all again.
