That McNuggets commercial gives me mad nostalgia. There I am 11 or 12 years old dumping out my candy on the family room floor while Ronald McDonald makes his way through a spooky castle inhabited by McNuggets.
We jumped into her kart away we started rollin’
As the youngest of Gen X siblings I never saw the original when it came out. We were too old for the kids movie. Therefore I have no nostalgia for it. I finally got around to watching it with my kids last Halloween. They liked it fine and I could appreciate it as a family-friendly movie. Which is a great thing to have…

Isn’t the robot boy in AI designed to look like the dead child? AI also being distinctly Pinocchio-inspired)

There was also something about the Table serving too. Back then I don’t know if I ever had Pizza Hutt at home, but sitting in the restaurant, and getting a hot pan pizza was great.
And the Frank Darabont script is better.
I pretty much enjoy just about anything that Bloc Party releases, with the exception of Hymns which is mostly boring. After giving this one a few plays already I find that I am really enjoying it.
In the header picture? That’s onion. She’s a hot dog.
I’m pretty sure that Alien is the basis for the Bechdel Test. That is to say, the original comic it “appears” in the character chooses the movie Alien precisely because it meets the objective.
