As the youngest of Gen X siblings I never saw the original when it came out. We were too old for the kids movie. Therefore I have no nostalgia for it. I finally got around to watching it with my kids last Halloween. They liked it fine and I could appreciate it as a family-friendly movie. Which is a great thing to have

I was given the impression that Lady Rhea preferred to dine on goose, or duck, or whatever the metaphor was. That could just be my own stereotyping coming in though. But even if that were the case that wouldn’t/shouldn’t stop Daemon from consummating it. So his impotence could still be a thing.

Thanks for the recap. Details are foggy.

This really looks quite beautiful and fun. I’m excited!

I think it was because he was only 18 when the original was filmed. Because he seemed older then he can seem younger now.

I might be stupid, or misreading the whole thing. But I saw the moon tea (or whatever) as a sign that Viserys was allowing Rhaenyra to do what she wants. As in, go ahead and fool around all you want, but when you do please use “Plan B.”

Didn’t they get married, but Joffrey died at the Reception. The purple wedding? Or was that someone else’s wedding?

Didn’t her scene come right after he mentioned the “White Worm?” Also she was wearing a long whit dress. Based on that I assumed that she was the White Worm, and on her saying she has moved up in the world. So, though not said, it was heavily implied.

That’s right Napoleon. And we’ll probably do it all again after this podathon happens and we can dissect it all.

Then what am I supposed to with my day? Work?! You must be joking.

I am just an angry geek, you however are the Angrier Geek.

Because I am an old man that hates everything!

Can we as a comments section please abstain from posting our Last Jedi opinions please? We know why people who love it, love it. We know why people who hate it, hate it. WE know what “works,” and what “doesn’t work.”

I really like Thunderdome, but in a way it does seem different than the other Mad Max films. For me it is more of a fantasy story than the dystopian, post-apocalypse story that the others were.

A few years back I read an article about really the multitudes of gross sexual abuse that happened in a some Amish communities. Most of which went unpunished because a) sexual abuse often goes unpunished anywhere and b) any “consequences” were kept in community.
