It’s not even close to 5 hours of watching. I don’t think a single episode is even one hour long. It might be 3 hours in total? The show itself is basically okay, pretty lean, and probably in the top 3 D+ shows (which is damning with faint praise, I know).

It’s more like 2.5 hours once you trim end credits.  Honestly it could easily be a movie with some editing, but there is an explicit episodic structure with each episode tying to one of her ancestors.

Omg yes! Can I PLEASE not have such overstimulation when I'm trying to read? Even now there's an autoplay video on my screen that keeps flashing and it drives me nuts!

Good.  Not everything’s about making a damn buck off me.

So the Kelvin Timeline only starts when Nero shows up and destroys the USS Kelvin.

Um, maybe I don’t understand, but how can this be in the Kelvin Timeline if it takes place decades before the Kelvin existed? I mean, it was just one timeline that split due to time travel. And this takes place before the split.

What the main character learned from the first book is that nightmare dystopias are better if he can make people go outside a few days a week, and also it’s rad as hell to be the richest guy in the world with the best toys and a hot girlfriend.

Considering how unexpectedly weird and different most Nintendo consoles are from the previous ones, I don’t put a lot of stock in analysis that says “the same, but more powerful”.

I’m happy to be proven wrong, since a more powerful switch is what I want, but Nintendo hasn’t operated like that for a long time, for

When asked for a response they replied

I found it extremely telling how keyboard warriors could write thousand-word screeds about how Kennedy ruined Star Wars with the sequel trilogy, but had almost nothing to say about Bob Iger or the executives at Disney.

The trans subtext must have been subtle, because I entirely missed it. I just thought Rose was a pretty girl. Because she is. People must get a serious bee in their bonnet to get verklempt over something so easily ignored.

That backdrop RTD is in front of feels very familiar, it has the year 5 Billion vibe to it.

It’s one of the worst ideas to influence the show (along with having the show’s producer also write the majority of the episodes) and you can mostly blame Buffy for that.

A season arc “big bad” works fine on other TV series that don’t involve time travel and planet hopping, where events occur in a linear fashion and

Back in 2008, I would have never once thought about single player DLC being a thing, nor would I have cared. But then they released GTA IV, and shortly after, a couple of decent enough DLC stories. It felt like Rockstar was firing on most of their cylinders and making games for everyone to enjoy.

And then GTA V came

If someone were to ask me to be a recurring character on a Star Trek show, or any other show for that matter, as Quark, I would say yes.

There’s nothing more “I’m not mad” energy than replying a month and a half later to somebody joking on you

My son loves it because it has no deadzone and he can use it on android and pc with dedicated modes for them.

Like Nilus before me I’ve had two Switch Pro Controllers since they were released and they work just as well as they did when I bought them, after hundreds of hours of Zelda, Mario and friends. One of the best controllers I’ve ever owned. A cursory internet search reveals that experiences may vary, but until you

I’ve never heard of the Pro controller having drift issues. Mine get plenty of use and are fine. My nieces and nephews all abuse theirs awfully, and none has had an issue. However, their Joycons have been sent in for repair several times.

Are the Pro Controllers plagued with that? I have two and neither have drift issues. My Joycons do as do my PS4 controllers. I honestly haven’t had any issue with my Nintendo Pro Controllers and only recently had issue with my Xbox controllers.
