I don’t know if this is every where, but my local IGA has been out of garlic bulbs pretty consistently and priced them at $6/head when they are in stock (and they’re tiny ones too).

Do we need to claim them now/before the merger? Or will it unlock if I decide to load up an old game for some reason (like to finished the Fractured But Whole) down the line?
I just thought it was funny that a politician, especially one that is targeted by the right as a lying, deceitful, evil do-er, would promote voting by playing a game about lying, deception, and evil doing. You would catch a stuffy old senator playing this game due to the potential PR implications, but I love that AOC…
That’s kind of disappointing there’s a Jedi Temple on Batuu because it feels shoehorned in for the game. I know it’s a big planet, but the populous seems to live near Black Spire Outpost and the surrounding lands. There’s already ancient temples made by the natives near BSO. Why would the Jedi have a temple so far…
I’ve seen pretty much every episode of the franchise at least once except for the current series (thank you Netflix and free time), and MMPR-Ninja Storm at least twice. Yet even I needed to do a quick Rangerpedia check during the Shattered Grid and Beyond the Grid events. Plus it was harder to pick out who people were…
I guess I forgot about that part and Memory Alpha didn’t shed a light on it for me.
Seriously, Boom Comics is sooo good. I think the current run is coming to an end this month and they’re relaunching next month, continuing the story but retitled, I don’t specifics since I’m behind due to reading the trade paperbacks instead of being current.
If they can balance the “real-world” teens from the first one with more Super Sentai style suits instead of alien Iron Man, then I’m all for it. Either way, I think the best Power Rangers media right meow for older fans, like myself, is the Boom! Studios comics. I just caught up on them (through the trade paperbacks)…
Oh yeah, no you’re right about that, I had forgotten they added that. I think you’re right, they added it on the VHS release because BttF2 was green lit by that point. I’m upset the end of the second movie has a trailer for the third, was that in theaters? Because it was on every home release I’ve owned of it. And…
How is Georgiou in the future? I thought she stayed behind with Tyler in Section 31 for a spin-off I’ve heard nothing and care nothing about?
Wait, what was the original theatrical ending?? I was born in 89 so I only know the ending where Doc shows up and they fly off to the future with the DeLorean. They said that was originally just a gag ending, but I didn’t realize there was another real one?
I have a gas burner with a booster(no idea, I think there’s increased flame) on it, my wok cooks fairly quickly. Not as good and an outdoor burner, but it suits my needs. That and for some wok hei goodness, I’ll use a butane torch in the wok to help add a little flavor while tossing.
I’m sure it wasn’t the intent, but damn Bob Gale was a little harsh there. I enjoyed the Michael J Fox show, and his run on Scrubs was fantastic, so yes I would want to see him act and act with Parkinson’s. Do I want to see Marty at age 60 with or without it? Not so much, that kind of limits what you can do with the…
You should try veggies first, then adding garlic and aromatics after, only leaving it by itself for maybe 30 seconds in the oil before incorporating because veggies take awhile to get tender soft and adding your garlic first will give it a longer cook time with more potential to brown or burn. I’ve always been told to…
Right but usually you would reserve the aromatics until after you’ve cooked the meat and veggies and add it right before the sauce and final incorporated fry. Also you don’t want to fry it by itself for more than 30 seconds (until fragrant) before mixing it with the rest of what’s in the wok. Thus the garlic is cooked…
They probably would rather keep the rights to the brand for future use, or possibly they use it outside the US? I mean if they killed off Disani bc it’s garbage water, they still wouldn’t sell it to a competitor, right?
Came here to make similar joke/criticism, no longer feel it necessary.
You mean the brand that had the e.Coli outbreak and never really recovered from that PR nightmare 24 years ago? Yes they became profitable again, thus the purchase by Coca-Cola, but they never hit the same heights they had pre-1996.
Oh yeah, they snuck into my recommended at one point to, and there’s more than just one channel devoted to bashing the new Trek, it’s scary.
I’m curious why you think it glorifies segregationism? I concede it’s flashier and more action oriented than my era of Trek (TNG) and it’s predecessors. But season 3 is finally expanding into the exploration side, season two also had a somewhat interesting mystery. I was more excited about Pike and Number One and the…
