Congratulations to her for deciding to stop doing the thing she herself chose to do, I guess?

That’s a shame because none of the endings were very “good” — there was just one that was slightly less nihilistic than the others.
Oh plus that patch that made everything more grindy and players weaker.
I stopped playing already. Diablo 3 had way more replayability without the constant live-service tinkering. They had a winning formula — all they had to do was copy it. I will never buy another live service game.
Snakes on a Plane is definitely a comparison I would use. Was it a “great” movie? No. Did it know exactly what it wanted to do and refused to deviate from that mission for a full 90 minutes? Absolutely.
I’ve taken apart every single Xbox controller I’ve owned to fix stick drift. I would actually be compelled to learn how to solder if I could replace the plastic potentiometers with magnetic ones.
I think calling Cocaine Bear a bad movie is reductive, but I did find it tonally schizophrenic. The trailers marketed it as a horror comedy, but there are some weird dramatic turns throughout, and Isiah Whitlock gives what I can charitably call a “confused” performance. The pivot toward tepid family drama during the…
How about “Xbox controllers never drift?”
Dude was brilliant in every role. Even his turn in the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer elevated a largely forgettable movie. It’s a shame all his talent was overshadowed by the fact that he pulled pud in a smut house.
I want to travel to the alternate dimension where Platinum made Vanquish 2 instead of Bayonetta 3. Unfortunately, our reality is the one where Vanquish was a commercial failure. People just weren’t ready for a cigarette-smoking Clint Eastwood archetype in a power suit who slides around Russian-backed enemy forces.
Exoprimal would probably benefit from in-depth, factual, coverage. The game got a lot of hate from the online gaming comunity because it only has two game modes. But you actually unlock more modes/content as you progress through the campaign. That point wasn’t made clear in anything I read post-launch. I actually…
The biggest feat this movie pulls off is serving as a two-hour advertisement for Mattel dolls and accessories while simultaneously shitting all over the negative impact they’ve had on female body image. I’m not ashamed to admit I teared up a bit. My biggest criticism was that a lot of the “subtext” was practically…
New Mickey Mouse Platformer...
I tried The Ascent when it first dropped and it was borderline unplayable. After the first major patch dropped, I sank maybe 20-30 hours into it. The game really is a lot of fun, and I honestly can’t remember why I shelved it for the second time. It was probably because of Elden Ring...
Why would anyone pay money for cosmetics in a game where the character sprites are so small you can barely tell what color your pants are?
As much as I would like to leave RetroPie behind and consolidate all my gaming under one console, I’m sure Antstream doesn’t have access to any games based on an existing IP. And I’m wary of paying for “lifetime” access to a digital service that could disappear at a moment’s notice.
My Rogue was built around Vulnerable damage. Now I only do 20%, and I’m getting one shot in the Capstone Dungeon. Now I have to reroll some of my skills and my gear, which was built, again, around Vulnerable damage. I’m really, really glad I hoarded gear. But season one starts tomorrow, so I guess it doesn’t matter?
It’s giving “paid by the article” energy.
I stepped away from the Microsoft ecosystem for over 10 years for myriad personal reasons. So when I purchased a Series X, I was pleasantly surprised to see games like Super Meat Boy and Rainbow Six Vegas not only still tied to my account, but still fully playable. Why Nintendo can’t do that with their systems is…
Hmmm. Maybe I’ll go back to Puncture with the 3-way throw.
