It was so good. I was in college and bought a headset just so I could shout at random opponents. Zero MTX and no skill-based matchmaking — just pure unadulterated chaos. I get that online games need some sort of revenue stream to keep the servers running, but multiplayer gaming will never, ever be as good as it was in

I miss the early days of online multiplayer, when you could just hop into a game of something like Crimson Skies or Halo and trash talk a lobby of completely random people for hours on end. Even if you were on the bottom of the scoreboard, games were still fun. I only play single player games now.

You hit the nail on the head with RE6. Capcom probably should have rearranged the order of the campaigns in the menu because the drop in quality from Leon’s campaign to the remaining three is JARRING. They just get progressively more boring. I don’t even think I made it to Ada’s campaign because Jake’s felt like a

Damn, I like this even more than Lo-Fi Girl. Hopefully, there are accompanying playlists on streaming services.

I mean maybe, just MAYBE, if your content is contingent on playing nice with someone else’s intellectual property — especially a notoriously litigious company like Nintendo — it would be a good idea not to do something they’re known for getting pissy about?

It’s very silly. There’s really no reason to spend over $100 on ANY machine intended for retro gaming. While the Raspberry Pi 4 is almost impossible to find at retail price, it’s capable of emulating the more powerful retro consoles (Gamecube/Dreamcast/PS2).

This is a huge blow to the classic gaming community. The prevalence of retro game collectors and content creators snapping up old games has made playing any titles still in print, legally, almost impossible. And, thanks to the global microchip shortage, the Raspberry Pi foundation is struggling to keep up with demand

If I had to pick only one episode past season nine, it would be Home vs. the State of New York. It was pulled from syndication because a large part of the episode, and many of its gags, revolves around the World Trade Center. But it contains one of the simplest and funniest jokes in the history of the show:

The voice acting in the original wasn’t stellar to begin with, so I don’t care about Ada’s VA either way. What I’m really not a fan of is the change to Salazar. Him being a petulant manchild was part of the fun.

I haven’t seen anything criticizing the new voice actress for not being “sultry” enough. Most of it is centered around the fact that her performance seems phoned in. I’d describe her version of Ada as “vaguely disinterested.”

I wanted to fume about Sekiro being second to last, but the reasoning here is pretty spot on. Does it have the best combat of any Fromsoft game? Yes. Are the bosses some of the hardest ever designed? Absolutely. Am I ever going to platinum the game or play it again? Probably not. Besides going for other endings, the

Same. I’m one of those gray hairs that prefers 2D Mario. List invalidated!

Editing seems to be a dying art. Someone already mentioned The Batman, which is easily, EASILY 20-30 minutes too long, but even a shorter film like The Whale had scenes that served no purpose other than to give the actors not named Brendan Fraser something to do. Every time he wasn’t on screen, it felt like a

I remember the same thing happening when Chorus dropped its ray tracing update. Yeah, the game looked fantastic on Series X when it was on, but the frame rate was dogwater.

As a huge fan of kung fu films, I honestly can’t tell if Reeves’ performance in Man of Tai Chi (which he also directed) is just plain awful or an homage to the way white antagonists are typically portrayed in kung fu movies: cartoonishly evil.

Not only is there an onscreen prompt, your blindfolded companion also hints at it the first time you deflect his arm sweep — then again the second time you do it. On the third or fourth deflect, he will literally yell at you to summon the divine beast. There’s also a button prompt in the middle of the screen. The

It’s incredibly weird that not only are block and deflect mapped to separate buttons, but deflect and dodge are the same button. Such a bad design choice. Deflecting is such an important part of the game that it should have been the same button as dodge.

They’re not like trading cards, where you can shove them in a sleeve with a hundred others and store without taking up too much space. You have to have significant shelf space and square footage even display those things. Funkos are like Happy Meal toys for adults who make poor financial decisions.

There’s no question that the game is in a much better state now than it was upon release. I managed to snag a steel book copy for $10 because Best Buy was anxious to unload inventory that wasn’t selling.
