Who's Next is one of the best albums of all time, no caveats necessary.

Might this mean that a studio actually has confidence in an Edgar Wright film?!

I haven't watched a ton of it, but I wasn't as high on it as critical consensus has led me to expect I would be. I get how good it is formally and how good the performances are, but it felt like it kept building to anti-climax simply for the sake of being anti-climactic. Look at David Chase, getting off, being

I was massively interested in seeing it when it first came out because it sounded like the kind of overly ambitious mind trip that appeals to me, but it came and went before I even had the chance.

That would work too!

I've heard pretty divisive things. That, combined with the trauma of all the shit that goes down in Wizard and Glass had me step away from them for a while. But I recently read The Wind through the Keyhole and that got me hankering to dive back in.

They could investigate crime and corruption in a border town on the verge of being absorbed into the Union! And there could be, like, three seasons worth of stories already made to follow up on.

Olyphant and McShane for the leads, plz.

Ummmm…so apparently True Detective season 3 is in the works and David Milch is helping to write it?!

That movie is SO BAD. So bad. I took a couple of 12 year olds to see it and even they were bored out of their skulls.

Quick list:

Going from X-Men: Origins to Henry V is some serious cinematic whiplash, although I suppose you probably needed the latter to counteract the former. It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen in a theater.

How Was Your Pop Culture Weekend?

Something that went around came back around!

Still wish Monster Trucks had gotten worse reviews, but I'll take it.

It's worth it for the finale alone.

There are people who think Cage gave a bad performance in Face/Off? Those people are so, so wrong and need an intensive course with Professor Garrity.

Mmmmmm that first touch by Dempsey, too.

Booker > Jordan. The numbers don't lie!

The Koogler tag and Jeff's standup would be worthy entries.
