This explains why the local buy-here-pay-here lots have reasonable inventory, but the Toyota dealer is barren.

Wow! This is impressive. Hope to see these in person soon, bring back the small trucks!
Insurance rates driven by pure metrics like ABS activation or acceleration/deceleration numbers are dumb because they don’t take anything else into account. Did someone pull out in front of you and you avoided an accident by braking beyond what some company thinks is “reasonable”? Sorry, that’s an activation and now…
I’ve got a 218k mile B5 S4 that I bought with 80k on it. It’s +150hp over stock, which, after the turbo upgrade (stock ones were shot) at 130k miles, has had nothing but regular maintenance and tires.
Appearance packages are about all you get these days without going into the high end. The GT2 package at $51k is up there for Kia level service too. Tons of better options for that kind of money.
Tell that to the 800C brakes. Bet that wheel and nut are already pretty hot coming into the pits anyways.
Wife has a 2018, that thing handles and feels better than all other non-luxury sedans. Mazda really nails vehicle dynamics like no other manufacturer. Glad we bought when we did!
Ayooo congrats on making the big time. Too bad the History Channel is just a shadow of what it once was. Modern Marvels and legit good history is now just non stop American Pickers, Ancient Aliens, and Forged in Fire. All garbage - almost as bad as the Discovery Channel’s demise into shitty reality tv.
Should jobs be saved just for the sake of saving them? That’s what this union is talking about. Should lamp lighters still exist when there are electric streetlights?
My last few experiences went a bit different. After greeting them in weak french, they always switched to English. Even if I kept talking in French to practice, they would still just use English to stop me from butchering their language. What’s the point of even knowing enough French to get around if the people don’t…
Finally! Thought we would never see the end of the slideshow era!
3rd gen 4Runner, 320k and excellent compression.
I’ve love to meet the people who are cross shopping this Kia at $80k with a Cayenne, Merc GLS, Tahoe/Yukon, Audi SQ7, Land Cruiser, etc.
So uhh, what happens to the trailer after it has detached?
RS6 is the easy choice, but I think the real answer to this “one car fits all” question is always 2 cars, especially with that budget. I’m assuming there is parking room because they already own 2 cars.
Telling a salesperson that you’re short on time and need a car now is just asking to get bent over. No one NEEDS a new car. If you’re after a newish car and still want a warranty, just go CPO. Only downside is that in today’s market maybe a brand new car isn’t that much more expensive.
As someone with two 25+ year old vehicles....this is a bit alarming.
COTD
That’s because those who already own there actively work to keep the supply small, maintaining their property values. San Fran is a great example of this.
Egypt, right now.
