His wife was arguably the central theme of the book. So so important to show the vapidity of society with her and her friends. They lost so much cutting her out. I also mentioned it as the movies greatest flaw.

I frankly don’t buy Montag in this movie. Not at all. As you said, his wife provided a great contrast with

It was much more 1984 wedded to The Running Man(moreso movie) than it was F451.

BOOM. With the trite slogans practically ripped from “War is Peace/Freedom is Slavery/Ignorance is Truth” and the rewriting of history it doesn’t even pretend it isn’t the baby of 1984 and The Running Man rather than F451. With the slogans and the televised fires and chases I think they lost the soul of F451 so they

I thought they lost the book completely and turned it into the baby of 1984 with the trite slogans and The Running Man with the broadcast hunts and fires.

Michael Shannon seemed to be the only actor who truly understood the source material and his character. However they really didn’t delve into him enough, he clearly

IKR, makes no sense that the producers won’t share more revenue. Normally I would go ballistic on SyFy but their decision makes sense. They bear a disproportionate risk for low reward. I guess the producers are banking on Amazon.

Never. Ever. Ever.
Ridiculous for them to hold on to him like that. Let them try him out on CW and if he’s popular they can yank the rights like they do with everything else.

Brain of the week has been a showcase of her tremendous skills. I started watching it because some friends said “You have to see this girl.”

Friday death slot shouldn’t hurt a CW show. They’re one of the few networks that understand people almost always time shift their viewing.

Dead on. Not sure why they thought the brother didn’t work but boy were they written off with extreme prejudice. Especially considering now Liv scratches anyone with a terminal illness.

But it sure was Poochie level, we’re not even making anything but a tiny pretense that this isn’t Chuck Cunningham removal of two

Sad to see it end, but glad to see it will get a final season with closure. I still enjoy it and actually like the more tense No Man’s Land Seattle storyline. Everyone does remain delightful though I do miss Steven Weber.

What they’ve done to Major though makes no sense and is close to unforgivable. He’s named Major

Ya, the title is disingenuous. They know SyFy only has live viewing revenue and it has lost viewers over the first two seasons. There is no single episode that could save this for SyFy. It’s just a crappy deal for them. One they probably shouldn’t have signed, they own the blame for that, but nobody should condemn

No. No episode is a reason to renew the show. You know that the contract only gives SyFy live viewing revenue and it hemorrhaged viewers the first two seasons until it got really compelling.

A good reason to renew the show would be the producers renegotiating with SyFy. For once I cannot fault SyFy for anything but

I’m waiting for the sequel which will deal with the period between the SAS and his time with the Wayne Family. When he is taken to an quirky Village on an island to determine why he left the SAS.

So say we all!

At this point maybe they can pull a shocker and have Adam Strange as a jealous wanna be hero trying to erase Superman by altering the timeline.

Those Brainiac tech discs must be something because you are right, Raoniac should be immolated. I’m guessing the big green face that is actually impressive is too much budget

The only good thing about the show, other than a lot of hilarity regarding wigs and costumes and budget, was it made me a fan of Anson Mount who rose above what they gave him and did strong work throughout. Glad to see he’s got another gig. I don’t want to see people unemployed but most of the rest of the cast should

That extra episode did raise a big red flag for me. Hope it’s a positive but I’d guess it’s a wrap up.

I’ve seen enough can’t miss ideas poop themselves and enough “stupidest idea I’ve heard of” excel to know that any idea can be turned into a compelling story. Krypton doesn’t seem to be it.

They really hyped Braniac but Raoniac really doesn’t do it for me,and probably the audience, as much as Braniac with his big green

Exorcist was really good. No idea why it didn’t find a viewership. Other than Friday night and network execs don’t understand time shifting is the way people watch tv. Or the USA just doesn’t like intelligent drama.

Tom Ellis carried Lucifer for 3 seasons with his near infinite charisma but even that couldn’t save a

I think CW is the only “major” network that understands the large majority watch shows timeshifted now. Live+24 just seems like a crazy measurement to me.
