EAGLE!

Perhaps it's cynical of me to say (who am I kidding, of course it is), but what hasn't become political these days?

Nothing happened. Cake and punch was served. Check with Egypt.

People pissed. On the interwebs?

Fusception.

-Shakes tiny fist-

If you still had hope to abandon, please, I want your drugs.

And only in Japan, a couple of cities in the US, and nowhere else.

Just offer the all three version and you can have my fucking money, Nintendo. Don’t give me any of this jumping through hoops nonsense.

Which is why the problem largely resides on the drug side of the equation, with the pharmaceutical companies calling the shots as to what is actually made.

Oh, I agree with this. Which is why I said it is about the money, because of the unfortunate for-profit nature of the industry.

Mmk.

Oh, there's no doubt about that. Of course, the problem would be that accomplishing that task is incredibly complex, and requires much time, and money.

If you say so.

If it's making them the money they want either way, I'm not going to doubt it for a moment. Call it crazy if you like, I don't particularly care, but with the consistency pharmaceutical companies have for being solved in shady situation, I certainly wouldn't put past them.

Would you say there's not as much incentive, however, to contribute funds towards that research when you have, as you yourself put it, a terribly ineffective drug that occasionally works, that's already approved and easily marketable, which millions of people, whether it's genuinely good or not for them, are dependent

So a lot of money, time and risk? Yeah. Of course. In the meantime, we have drugs decades old proven to work for a good portion of people (not everyone), easily prescribed (we can advertise this shit on TV), and already with millions of people on it.

Woo, you certainly crushed my argument! My, you are so clever!

I don't fundamentally disagree with anything you're saying, and I imagine much of boils down to my cynicism.

Well, if we're talking pure greed, what makes more sense.
