Uh, I'm going to assume you just didn't my post, because I'm fairly sure gender swapping has nothing whatsoever to with game design, and it is indeed lazy, compared to actually making a Zelda game about Zelda.

I've seen a lot of people say that tradition is the only reason to keep Link male, and that isn't a good enough reason to not do it.
So you're saying giving an already established game of her own, in a series named for her unnecessary and uninteresting?
Two birds with one stone, and the first cover won't confuse people into thinking Link is Zelda. Or confuse them more.
This. Seriously. A Legend Zelda game, starring fucking Zelda.
They don't seem to have much faith in a new, compelling female character. So gender swap a male one.
It wouldn't be hard at all. Simply take a look at Tetra. They've already managed to take Zelda out of her royalty and show has a different, more adventerous nature.
Because for some strange reason, people prefer the lazy route to the interesting one.
Well, at least it's not like that novel I read (Daemon, I believe) where after his death an elaborate virus began, people started dying, and a bunch of cool and crazy shit started happening.
I have no idea what the fuck is happening here, but I'm giving you a star because my brain is insisting on it.
That...was the point.
I'm kind of sad he didn't find a way to show up offline.
The dream of cosplay is alive in Portland, Portland...
That's a class act move. Props.
Well, they're not wrong.
True, I just don't see tham actively punishing Visceral until after Star Wars comes out.
Doesn't Visceral still have a Star Wars title in the works?
They really love making shit up, don't they?
Damn. Type-0 (I for one am really interested in the game itself), Hardline (preloaded and ready for Midnight unlock), A new Tales from Borderlands (about fucking time) and the conclusion of Revelations 2. Good week for games (or at least for me!).
I think you're being generous.
