Tell us more about this shit stain of a human... I'm intrigued.
I'll just put his current opponent's EMILY's List fundraising page right here... *whistles inconspicuously*
Yes, he is a jerk, but in this instance I think the clipped quote is to blame. He's currently running for a seat in CA's 31st Congressional District; I assume, he's referring to that race with reference to New Yorkers trying to tell Californians what to do or whatever.
No, no one takes unpaid internships after they graduate at all. You'd have to be desperate to do that, as if there were no entry-level jobs available or something.
Hi, SpeakInVowels - fellow legal eagle here. Do you think you'd feel as comfortable interning unpaid at a for-profit entity, like a major corporation or a for-profit law firm, rather than a legal services agency? Yes, I think internships for law students are completely invaluable; I wouldn't have gotten hired…
I think you have the wrong of it. In addition to what others have cited:
That actually sounds very similar to US law. However, the reason so many US companies flout that law is because many folks don't know what their rights are, the enforcement mechanism doesn't always prioritize cracking down on internships versus other wage and hour law violations, and interns are in a vulnerable place…
Wait, Lord Grantham is Turkish?! That explains so much about Lady Mary's interest in Mr. Pamuk.
Two important questions must be answered:
Yikes! That lady sounds like quite the hot ticket though. :)
OMG. Things I can tell you about raccoons, based on one long summer:
Do tell. I'm ready to jump on the Tacocat bandwagon!
I applaud her sportistic efforts and excellent dance skills! Go, your family!
I don't think anyone's going to disagree with you on that, but liking a well-designed fashion collection doesn't make anybody a hypocrite... unless they said they didn't like fashion collections or something...
Sad that I know this, but the Obama divorce rumors (minus the 'Yonce escándalo) have also been making their way around the American (fringe) conservative media circuit over the past few months, as well. The topic mostly pops up now through commenters on news articles/forums. If the article is about something…
I have watched this three times in a row, and it continues to be funny.
Well said.
Kim Cattrall's spot-on Elizabeth McGovern speaking voice was #1 to me!
"Traditionally the courts don't favor the men." -> What?!
