They all pale in comparison with the surrealist glory of Kosho:
In the end, there’s only one real answer:
Also, it’s not sci-fi, but the bending sport from Korra is pretty cool.
No shout out for pro-bending in Legend of Korra???
Yup, agreeing with Sessile: The Boys was just too Garth. Loved the MAX Punnisher run, but a little of that, Preacher, and especially reading The Boys got rough. Never finished Preacher nor Boys, it became too nihilistic for me.
You hit the nail on the head.
Yeah, I loved the series at first and over time he just made it more and more vulgar, to the point where it was too much for me.... and I can take a lot of vulgar. I will still watch the show though!
“I enjoy his work but he has some real authorial tics that need to be reined in for his work to be at it’s best.”
Yeah, Garth Ennis is clearly a very talented writer, but some of his stuff (very much including The Boys) just feels really mean-spirited for the sake of being mean-spirited.
Taco Bell will pay for it!
I remember watching ‘the making of’ for Zootopia and they talked about originally the Predators had shock collars on that if they got too emotional they’d get zapped, and how there was a scene when they watch a young bear cub at his ‘Taming ceremony’ (getting his collar) and he gets super exicted about it after it’s…
I ADORE this movie so seeing it get more love is always a good thing. I’m REALLY hoping for some sort of inclusion in Kingdom Hearts 3.
I still want them to bring Ghibli into the Magic Kingdom.
I think this is a really good idea. Not only is Zootopia an instant classic that deserves preservation like this, Shanghai Disney very much needs more to do - I went the year it opened, and you could tell that they weren’t finished building it. It felt too sparse.
This sounds really cool in concept. The city of Zootopia is the kind of ‘imagination run wild’ backdrop to which Disney designers can likely build some really interesting experiences. I can imagine a ‘rodent sized’ area where you might walk around tiny buildings with all sorts of insane detail right alongside…
It’s still jarring how they got Judy and Nick to somehow resemble Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman
A Zootopia land would be a perfect fit at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Much better thematically than Avatar.
Do you want furries, Disney? because thats how you get furries.
