The challenge for non-Biden candidates is to figure out how to attack Biden without also attacking President Obama, who is beyond reproach. If the non-Bidens cannot solve this puzzle, honor dictates that they bow out and acknowledge Biden as the superior candidate.

Biden’s economics and relationship with Wall Street are identical to those of President Obama. If Sanders is clever enough to figure out how to attack Biden on these issues without also attacking President Obama, then — and only then — would it be okay for Sanders to do it. Democrats never win when they denigrate

Why panic? No sensible Democrat disputes that Hillary Clinton would have won in 2016 but for the intervention of Vladimir Putin. Her victory was stolen from her.

But President Obama was bold. He taught America the difference between campaigning and governing.  In so doing, he gave America the gift of realistic expectations.  What could be bolder than that?

That mostly sounds reasonable to me, but the wars were started by Bush, so Obama isn’t responsible for their continued existence.

Why does every Socialist I meet tell me Barack Obama was a bad President? Who could believe such nonsense? Are they hateful and confused because they are Socialists, or are they Socialists because they are hateful and confused?

I cannot believe President Obama was unwise enough to choose a feeble-minded old grump to be America’s Vice President for eight years. My liberal American friends always tell me Democrats never win when they denigrate President Obama’s legacy. They say there is nothing wrong with lodging respectful critiques of Vice

I cannot see the need for more testimony to rehash well-trodden ground. Under President Obama’s leadership Democrats had eight years to examine all the specifics of climate change science. They succeeded. Now we need only restore President Obama’s proven policies. I have not heard any Democratic politician deny that

I don’t understand why we shouldn’t prioritize. We will always have more babies to abort, but we only have one Earth. If we leave one baby unaborted today, we can abort two tomorrow to make up the difference. The urgency is therefore less.

You are letting rigid ideological dogma lead you into the trap of denigrating President Obama’s legacy.

But that’s not true. President Obama made tremendous progress on climate change. Why should Democrats risk giving Trump a second term by gambling on a climate change program which is more aggressive than President Obama’s wise approach, which yielded good results? It would make no sense, either scientifically or

Is this really a problem though? My liberal Democratic American friends tell me President Obama had a stellar record on climate change and the Party just needs to maintain and build on his legacy. They tell me it would be folly to squander the Party’s precious political capital and alienate swing voters by fixating

Why does everyone assume the Hillary Clinton post is trolling?

America’s northern border security is disgracefully weak, far weaker than in the south. Canadians can just walk right in.  Democrats should insist on securing the northern border first.

I watch a lot of Rachel Maddow, and I’m convinced that what American voters want more than anything is a President who will defend America from Russian aggression. It’s the #1 issue in this election, by far.

This whole Schultz situation confuses me.

Tom Brokaw is right. I have done my best to be a good friend of America and to avoid creating disturbances in America.

AOC must be wrong, because America is already great, and national greatness is not possible in a moral vacuum.

My liberal American friends are all great believers in gay rights, but they tell me it would be the height of unpragmatic self-defeating purism to attempt to purge every member of the Democratic Party who has a checkered history on gay rights — because that’s most of the party! You can’t purge over half the party!

My liberal American friends tell me the social significance of Woodstock 2019 will be rallying resistance to Donald Trump’s reckless plans to pull American troops out of undeclared wars in the Middle East. It’ll be just like 1969, they say.
