If this had happened at Cars & Bids, there is literally a face identified with that business (funny enough that its Daddy Doug) to disrupt future business. I don’t think Duncan made the best decisions, but he was trying to stop the auction and regroup with all of the information about the car. BaT comes off looking…
Yeah, not the first time BaT has let a sketchy auction stay live for way too long. I’m too lazy to go digging for examples, but there have been a couple with questionable VINs and/or sellers who will just outright lie about the vehicle’s history in the comments. And neglecting to include seller-provided info about…
Gary would have been much better off if his comment had been that he was nuke bidding, rather than something that most would take as goading to bid against him.
Uh-huh. Nope. Nada. Twenty years and 79,000 miles means this was someone’s weekend-car, since that works out to about 76 miles per week. Maybe that’s a good thing . . . and maybe not. Automatic trans, badly worn driver’s seat and a sky-high price. If it’s so wonderful, why sell it?
Currently around 70% ND and no comments...
If I’m going to be “that asshole in the red BMW convertible, I’d better have gotten it for a bargain. This isn’t one.
ND. I know these have gone up, but this is the least desirable configuration and is absolutely not worth $23k. Hell, BaT is still routinely closing out the more desirable specs in the $12-18k range in decent condition.
You want to embarrass owners of fine, exotic automobiles.
Yeah, but this Toyota ain’t any prettier.
It will start at 38 or so, as you say the Yaris was a homologation car. This is fundamentally a parts exercise.
“Oh hey, I didn’t know you installed one of those adjustable height desks”
Buying it.
Its not even a question. I have waited a long time to replace my 2014 WRX STi Hatch.
This is absolutely perfect.
Damn a Golf R fighter for people who don’t mind having a car that makes them look like someone who will stand in line for a Fast & Furious movie.
Won’t trade my MR2 in... but my Genesis Coupe might be in trouble.
OK GUYS, LET’S NOT MESS THIS UP. TOYOTA IS GIVING THE STATES THE CAR WE BEGGED FOR, LETS NOT LET THEM DOWN.
Never thought I’d see the day when Toyota will build the STI that Subaru wont. What a world.
