You’re not wrong, but him dog-piling on this crazy market isn’t helping foster a return to sanity.

Let’s face it, if you can afford this kind of automotive purchase, either find a one-of-50 rarity, or spend twice as much on a new GT3. ND/CP.

This is the right take.

I want to NP this for nostalgia. My neighbor had this exact spec when I was a kid. It looked futuristic compared to our 84 LeSabre.  But not even for half the price...ND/CP.

“First, I’ll show you it’s quirks and features, then I’ll take it for a test drive”....

If this had happened at Cars & Bids, there is literally a face identified with that business (funny enough that its Daddy Doug) to disrupt future business. I don’t think Duncan made the best decisions, but he was trying to stop the auction and regroup with all of the information about the car. BaT comes off looking

Tell that to the judge.

Even if they went to auction, I would want a drug K9 to certify that the cars were “clean”....

You’re probably right. I just can’t decide if they were lazy with the design of this thing, or trying too hard ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Man, the rock chips from that rear wheel vent....

You can barely find a Camry in this condition for the same price.  The joy of driving it is worth the financial risk for me, but only because it would not be my only car!

2021 Civic 6.7" vs 2021 HR-V 7.4" ground clearance for fwd models. Generally, the seats themselves are mounted higher in a CUV as well. Pedantic sure, but if someone is just cross-shopping specs, the HR-V wins. I miss being able to gracefully exit a low-slung sports car, but love literally stepping out of my truck.

Seat height (from the ground) is a real issue as you age.  Ask me how i know....

Thanks for this.  On my way there now...

Go back to the OP. They said support locally-owned chicken businesses. I said support whomever you choose. That is the free market, not being told who you should or should not do business with.

Had a crush on a girl that drove a red one of these. Ahh....memories. But not for half the price, even in the current economy. ND/CP.

The Chik-Fil-A employees have a right to earn a living, even if you don’t like where they do it. Just support causes that you agree with, and spend your money where you want to.  And vice versa....

So...the employees aren’t locals, too? If you’re not a fan, don’t spend your money there. But I wouldn’t want to deny people the choice of either.

You can disable the stop-start as soon as you crank the motor. Yes, it’s annoying, but after a year of ownership, hitting that button is muscle memory before I even touch the shifter. Still averages 32 mpg/hyw.

2021 Latitude FWD, 2.4L, $26k out the door.  Drove from Florida to Texas to save over $9k locally.  Just depends on how committed you are to the best deal.  And yes I know, it’s a Jeep not a Toyota, Honda, etc...
