In the books he ends up happy. You could hold on to that, maybe.

George Clinton. He was really nice and gracious and interested, instead of just being interesting.

Sorry - I'd gotten my posters confused and thought you were posting more of de Passage. :)

I'm in Den Haag - I actually had to work from home because the nuclear summit was right by where the office.

It's cheesecake all over again.

As much as I love both, if I had to choose one and give up the other for the rest of my life, caffeine would have to win. I just couldn't give up coffee. (And there's always the wide array of other alcoholic beverages, while coffee is...coffee.)

Cornbread often has bacon fat, and traditional biscuits are made with lard. It's not actually a stupid question.

I can see them! I was about to come in and post almost the exact same current-day shot.

I loathed Born This Way, so I was pleasantly surprised with the new album. I actually like Artpop - I had to listen through it a couple of times before it grew on me, but it's a fun pop album. I just have to ignore Gaga, the "artist." She just tires me. She's a pop musician. She's not particularly new

South Park already did "A Song of Ass and Fire" and it was brilliant. In a slightly different way, though... :D

My Duran Duran phase never quit - it's pretty much the thread that holds 3/4 of my life together :D

But where are the Nikki Sixx wedding pictures? Past Goth Me REALLY wants to see them because Past Goth Me would have been horribly envious (also, pre-goth-me had a huge thing for Sixx back when it was the 80s and he was dirty. Don't judge.)

I forgot to mention: my absolute favorite airport is Amsterdam Schiphol. It's my home airport, but even before I moved here I was impressed because it's clean, well-organized, relatively quick to get through (especially considering the volume of people who moves through every day), and there's a lot to do there while

I fly into the US a couple of times a year, and now that Dulles has revamped their international arrivals system a bit, it's my preferred airport for connecting through (on to Indianapolis, so my airport list is pretty east-coast-centric). O'Hare is second, Newark is as last as I can make it.

It's a parody. It's also by Ome Henk and not Rammstein, unfortunately (though a Rammstein version would be brilliant. But also in German.) I've only copied/translated the chorus (from here), but google translate will give you like a 70% accurate translation if you want to read more. Probably more like 50%, but it'll

It's in Dutch. And kind of hilarious.

I don't think it's a "just like Europe does" scenario - we get full uncensored episodes of South Park, and nudity isn't banned on tv (even as early as 8:00) here in The Netherlands. I think Ubisoft went for a sweeping censoring of all PAL countries on this one without considering that at least most really don't care

I loved Ghosts I Have Been ridiculously, and I actually only bought it because I saw it on the dashboard of a car parked next to ours in the mall parking lot, back when I was 10 or so, and thought it looked interesting enough to check out.

If I google seresy, I get a Chinese importer of cheap things and a German rapper (who contacted me once via ebay to ask how long I've been using the name...I guess 2000 was a good enough answer?).

Someone on io9 mentioned the Iron Druid books and I loved them. I binge-read. And since I got them on my reader, I was finishing one and immediately buying the next (yay, wifi!).
