The first time I read this, I was living in Richmond. It only added to the atmosphere.

I met my husband on the Moby boards, way back when Moby had a forum and when it was a brilliant, funny place to hang out on the internet. Only like 5% of the site was actually about him - the rest was random discussions about anything and everything.

I have a "pocket sized paperbacks" bookshelf (10 meters of shelves and counting! I just ordered 4 more meters. Gotta love modular shelving) and a "bigger paperbacks/hardcovers" pair in my room upstairs, but I tend to group by size, then by theme, and then alphabetically by author. So, for example, my pocket paperbacks

The beginning of April is only 2 months - we only have to make it through February and March first :D

Mine mentioned the words big, squishy, and butt all in the same sentence. And he thinks my icy glare of death is cute, so I know it's coming back sometime.

My 5'2" sister handed down (up?) a Missoni dress from the Target collection - on her, it was a mid-thigh mini. On 5'7" me, it's a tunic that doesn't completely cover my butt.

I scrolled through the set thinking "but where do the books live???"

I've always been weirdly bad at math but really really good at logic. So you would think I would have done better in any class beyond algebra.

Check the import shops! I've found all kinds of amazing things at (somehow especially Asian food) import shops! If there's no Fanta, there will at least be Fernandez! In cherry and pineapple and sometimes even grape, which is weirdly unavailable here (but Cassis is? I will never understand that.)

The most depressing sentence I've read all day begins with "We're three and a half decades on".

I ended up binge-reading almost all of the ones currently out and they were worth it (I got a bundle on Kobo). Several thousand pages later, though, I haven't gotten to the last one and have been taking a break. They're good, but a LOT to get through. The first one mostly lays the groundwork for the rest.

Thanks for the recommendation! It sent me straight to Kobo, where there's a 3 book bundle. (Bitches and Sausages was the deciding point.)

I don't think I've heard of anyone else reading the Indigo books, though I knew someone had to have! Yay! They're out of print now, so when I had to fill holes in the series it turned into a big web search through various used bookstores across the US.

E-cigs just send out water vapor. It's not smoke.

I've never had issues in Philly, but I will NEVER EVER EVER go into/out of Newark ever again in my life. I've missed connecting flights after 3 hour layovers because of the ridiculousness of international arrivals/security there.

There definitely has been an increase in development. I live in Ypenburg (Battle of Ypenburg) and it was an airfield up until a couple of decades ago, when the area was built up.

If it's stretchy, go a size down. If not, I'm pretty safe with their regular sizing (though I'm right at that 14/16/18 size border, so YMMV.)

I just bought it yesterday! It looks great on her, so that helps any residual "those are some awfully big flowers" doubt that I had.

Placed needles that stay in you squick me out too! It's just so wrong-sounding.If it helps (coming from someone who is/will remain childless):

It's my brother's GameStop, too! Indianapolis is getting scary...
