I put it on my wishlist. Good luck! It looks really interesting :)

They do go to Iceland! Not all the snow is fake!

Pine nuts can leave an unpleasant aftertaste if you don't toast them, regardless of whether you have a reaction to them or not (you can find yourself burping the damn things 2 days later). We always buy pre-toasted or toast them ourselves, but I do put them in anything even remotely appropriate.

The worst is when you'd 20 feet away from a kid*, in a designated smoking area, and THEY do it. And then their parents reward them for it. And you break down one day and say "congratulations on raising a sanctimonious little asshole." And then the parents get mad. And then you continue smoking near the pole in the

I paid 25 euros for a Bellini on the Champs Elysees. Just to say I had (also, it was tasty.)

Apparently he was a total nightmare to work with - great in the preparation stages, but when the time came to actually do the job, he'd get weird and surly and refuse to cooperate.

She looks confused. Like "which way do you want me to tilt my head?" instead of "I'm happy and glowy and natural!"

I took my sleeping DS into town (The Hague) on Saturday only so I could get someone to street pass with for my Animal Crossing town.

I'm in the end stages of getting kanji (that was down my entire spine) covered up, and am only keeping 2. Even though (out of 13) I only knew for absolutely sure than 11 of them were correct, I still don't regret them more than just a "so that's what I picked?" feeling. They were a reminder to me of being 20 in 1993

We discovered our cat had eaten a piece of fishing line in a similar fashion...
(she was also a notorious tinsel-eater, which is what reminded me)

So she's not actually even related, but publicizing it anyway?

Congratulations! It's a huge deal :)

My mom's currently about 40 final pounds away from the same thing. Happy recovery!

I did a book report on "The Outsiders" in front of the class in 7th grade and kept saying "Socks" instead of "Soches" (for soc). Until corrected. In front of everyone. By another student.

I also use my working time to break in random shoes. So footwear with the above ensemble ranges from none to ballet flats to 4" heels.

I got lucky and caught a promotion - they only had one of each color they were running it for and my timing was good, so I got 99 euros credit on a 199 euro 3ds/xl.

I traded that one in on my silver/black XL and I miss it and its pretty pretty color SO MUCH.

May I suggest the humble poncho? It meets all of my "it can be a bit chilly in my home office" needs while being oh-so-stylish. (Actually, I do have a Missoni poncho. It was on clearance. I swan around in it and yoga pants that may actually be flowy black pj pants from Target.)

I'm mostly a vegetarian (I eat meat maybe once a month, when I give in to cravings) and am completely behind this. My issues with meat are mostly with factory farming and a perceived wastefulness in the industry, so this would make my random burger-eating MUCH less hypocritical.

It's on my toes! It's such a flattering summer color and I keep forgetting exactly how awesome it really is.
