@Sputnik_Sweetheart: even though his show's the topic of the thread, AND I've read all of the comments so far, whenever you wrote Rush, I was thinking of the band.

@BabyJane: as long as nobody tries to take away their cheap sunglasses.

@CurtCole: And both cake AND pie. Because we believe in choices.

@Forthright Fattie: My family's in Indy- some of the neighborhoods are getting worse, but I still try to hold onto the "decent sized midwestern city" idea of it instead of this kind of crap.

@Mishegoss: My (male) boss has the most disordered eating I've ever seen openly practiced.

@cricketchicka: I met someone on a message board, a couple of years later moved to NL, and we got married last year :) It's lovely when it works.

@Sputnik_Sweetheart: "then I stopped because it is bad for your health, brain, life and for people around you."

@LessThanZero: from what I read (and may seem painfully obvious, but I'm not going there), he had a lot of trauma about his looks as a kid/teen/young man, so if that went deep enough, he may not have wanted to pass his genes on to someone. And the vitiligo adds to the equation- whether or not it's genetic, I've known

I just finished watching the episode (thank you internet!) and I didn't get the impression she thought it was real- I've done the same thing (regularly) knowing damn well it wasn't a real thing/painting/tableau in front of me.

@BellaNotte: But part of being a good host/hostess is being able to make your guests feel comfortable. It's not serving them, but it's providing good conversation and good company, whether it's a backyard barbecue, a professional occasion, or a fancy dinner.

@SpasticFurchild: The H.I.P. creme/gel eyeliner in a pot is the BEST. Better than MAC, better than Clinique. The texture is perfect, and I'm going to have to get a backup or two, even though they're not discontinuing MF in Europe, because that line never made it here.

@Breamworthy: We've been trying for 6, and my doc is pretty unconcerned about the meds I'm on for my asthma... I had to convince them that the one that gives varied and unpleasant side effects to NON-pregnant people was a bad idea. *sigh*

@CreampuffTKO: She lived what I've seriously said is my dream of my old age. I'm in awe.

If you need to defend your tradition with that many excuses (after listening to the audio), you already know there's something wrong with it. There's only so much lying to yourself you can do in life before you grow up and realize all of the cumulative b.s. you've drowned yourself in.

@NefariousNewt: Do they have to be tried before going into a domestic prison? I'm pretty sure the remnants of the Bush administration are probably still trying to get around that little technicality somewhere...

@NewsBunny: I'm really close to letting Vanity Fair go- I don't think I've read an entire issue in several months now. It's not worth international rates.

@seresy: we have lots of "oops" babies in my family, actually.

@Snowbunny: I was born 5 months after my parents' wedding- after I learned about the birds and the bees, I asked my mom about it. She claims they "just got caught practicing." I think that's about the best way I've ever heard someone explain an unexpected pregnancy. She was 19, he was 23 (by one day) and they're still
