Yeah, when are Christians finally gonna get accepted in America?

I watched the show and it has some good moments but a lot of bad ones. One thing that stuck out to me is that the show treats minority characters very badly.
Honestly, I love this show. It definitely has it’s CWness, but it actually is pretty great and very committed to its world building. Some plot lines have been better than others, but it’s a solid bit of escapism that isn’t as nihilistic and misery-porn ridden as The Walking Dead despite it’s pretty heavily apocalyptic…
Yeah, Solas + Sera banter is interesting stuff. My love for Sera actually comes from her banters, especially with Iron Bull and Cassandra.
So fun fact, if you take along both Sera and the other person you hate, Solas, he plays a rousing game of “and what then?” with Sera’s political beliefs in companion banter. Basically he points out the flaws with her short-term actions by her lack of consideration of the long-term effects.
...no? Hearing him talk, and hearing others talk about him, I get only the impression that he is thoughtful, kind, empathetic and good-natured. He’s been put in the spotlight a ton since TLJ and I think he’s handled it terrifically.
Counterpoint: Anime was a mistake. :P
The season let me down, and bought into the whole sacrosanct bullshit that is the concept of motherhood as some all powerful constant force - I wish it had been able to acknowledge how toxic either mother was, with at least Trish or Jessica severing those ties.
No one. This is us:
On this, I don’t suppose we could get an io9 article about Indian comics at some point? They were apparently hit even harder by the nineties bust than US comics and haven’t really recovered, but that still leaves a lot of English-language material for Americans to enjoy if they only had a primer.
“Carol’s powers coming from being exposed to Mar-Vell’s genetic material...”
A star for honesty!
A. Love her outfits because she’s gorgeous and wears the hell out of them.
Enter Barbara Gordon, a grad student at Burnside University and already fully trained Batgirl. But she’s moved away from Gotham (and Bruce and Dick and her father) because she’s trying to find herself, figure out her role outside being a crimefighter - she’s literally always been in somebody’s shadow, whether it’s…
It’s nice, but I wouldn’t say it’s anything exceptional. Take off the mask and she looks ready to hop on a motorcycle.
DAMMIT BARRY IRIS!
Ah yes, the Enterprise. For me, it will always be the Enterprise-D as she was the first Enterprise I knew.
What the fuck is this I’m hearing about a 4 hour cut!?! I want it! I want it now! As it is my only problem is Killmonger wasn’t developed enough and this makes me think his character was left on the cutting room floor.
