Honestly.. I don’t think the Dark Phoenix Saga holds up super well, and I think it might even harder to penetrate if you’re new to comics. IG is easier to access, but it’s a pretty textbook event comic in a post-Crisis landscape (iconic artwork from Perez for the portions he worked on).
