They may not be idiots as in unintelligent, but they are utterly delusional believing any of them is capable of running a global media empire. It’s apparent to everyone - both within the show and the viewing audience - except themselves. If you owned the equivalent of Fox or Disney, would you appoint any of them CEO?

The film not only aces the Bechdel test, it also scores high on the Harold & Kumar test. (Asians and tests! A match made in heaven!)

My two observations:

Um, I don’t know whether I should go see this. I’d like a bit more of an explanation as to why it received an A. Is this as good as, say, Inside Out?

This isn’t a review, it’s the celebration of an Asian-themed movie. Which is fine and all, but a review would be nice too. 

What the fuck is this? This is barely even a review, it’s just pointing out that there’s Chinese and Canadian elements in it - which would be one thing if it wasn’t so poorly written! Didn’t an A mean something once?

This felt like a discussion of the cast rather than the film.

That’s completely true. It’s just that here it came across so weirdly as Kate never seems to have a reaction to scenes where she is clearly killing someone. And with someone like Stark or even Clint it fit their character, but Kate’s supposed to be new at this.
