I used the lite version of Lux for a while and recently went to the paid version purely because I knew my way around the app and wanted the auto adjust. I’m curious though since I saw a bunch of similar apps, is there a particular feature that I’m missing out on with Lux?

I thought local multiplayer was one of the selling points of consoles. I had a lot of fun playing split-screen on a 360 with friends in college. Guess I’ll just stick with that.

I just reflashed and rooted again to go from 5.1.0 to 5.1.1 and after doing that and the cache clearing trick it seems to be more responsive (It’s still not really quick but it’s better). Hopefully it lasts.

Very true. They do directly address it in their FAQ (question 13) though and GOG isn’t EA so I’m hoping that they stick with it. Only time will tell but I’m betting they will get negative feedback from users if they change that promise.

It does say on the GOG site that it will be an optional client layer so I don’t think you will need to use it if you don’t want to.

Depending on the version of Windows installed you might be able to use Advanced Tokens Manager or something similar to backup the activation and then reinstall plain Windows using a image from Digital River (if you don't already have an image or disk).
