Seconded, I have the LX single and it's been great. I'll definitely be adding the LX dual when I end up with enough room to go to three monitors.

Nice! My i7 920 is still going strong so I can't really justify the upgrade at this point. I'm pretty happy with the reliable performance I've been getting from it over the years.

I'm glad to see someone else still using a Nehalem processor in their main desktop. :)

WeatherSpark: I really like having the ability to look at different kinds of information (windspeed, precipications, actual temperature, deviation from historical values, etc.) All at once and that I can dramatically change the scale and look at yearly trends if I want. The map that shows where weather stations are

I can make enough of a separation between my normal environment and my work environment when I use virtual machines, that might work for you.

Perhaps.

Cards against humanity?

I'm glad to see Noctua represented. Personally I've been using their NH-D14 with my i7-920 for 5 years and my temperatures max out around 60 C (stock speed, 100% usage). And the fans have a pretty discrete hum, even with a HAF 922 which is pretty open.

Thanks for the insight. I don't personally have a reason to use either of the corporate offerings but it is at least interesting to hear from someone who has. I'll probably need to explore all of the free versions on my own in more detail.

Do you know how does it compare with SUMo or Secunia PSI? I see someone else mentioned File Hippo's update checker already.

That seems interesting. Thanks, I'll check it out.

I first learned Java and then did some light work with C to program an Arduino. I then took a software design/implementation course in C and I was finally ready for that big step. Up until that point I had mostly worked in Eclipse but I finally had to properly learn the Bash shell, deal with makefiles, and work with C

I don't remember the first one but there were quite a few memorable ones. Since part of my family is Belgian, I had an internship over there at an engineering firm. Most Belgians love mayo (at least stereotypically) and it was just assumed that I did too when lunches were ordered for everyone. I believe I was a

I certainly picked up on the typical mayo habits very quickly after being sheltered by my local deli! I also hadn't realized how old a thread I was posting on, lol.

That happened to me with a BLT once. I guess the place I normally go doesn't assume you want mayo on it but this other restaurant served it without any indication in the menu. These days I make sure to ask but I wish menus were always explicit.

While I'm a single space person by habit, I was curious (and not very aware of the html implementation) and I discovered that I could force alternate spacing where normal spaces are just consolidated (look at my next period). Isn't this cool? Versus just this. If anyone else is like me and unaware of this, I used

So there really is no winning. I was taught to type on computer and to only use a single space. However, it does not make sense to discriminate one way or the other. A single space is not necessarily a mark of inattentiveness and a double space is not always indicative of age. I would hope that the content of my

Indeed, I have used them before and they get the job done. I just think that the ones in the store near me aren't in the greatest condition. They are by no means the worst grinders though.

Personally, I've had issues with consistency with the machines at my local supermarkets, otherwise I would use them. My other issue is going through coffee drinking phases and wanting to just grind the amount I'm going to use right before brewing. That way I can get my beans to last a bit longer. And perhaps you're
