Agreed on this, though I felt Luclin was tolerable amount of portals. Planes of Power was where it got really bad imo, with all the books in PoK.

The same ‘bug’ applies to abilities as well, it’s not just the stats of a single gun, it’s something mishandled in how the game tries to scale difficulty or the math behind the scenes, almost definitely.
