Handles don’t have to be masterful epic of modern literary achievement. It’s a name a person chooses to be known by, and it expresses stuff about them, in all sorts of different ways.

eh, I have no idea what the relationship stuff was, but Kreia is hands down one of best video game characters of all time. All the stuff with the Sith Lords and the Exile, the Malachor V stuff and the horrors of war, so on, is so good.

When Shadow of Mordor came out, I couldn’t wait for another developer to make a knock-off Nemesis system in a better game. GTA with auto-generated gangsters and gangs that interact in the world? Yes Please, it would add some life to a beautiful but dull city. Fire Emblem with like, Nemesis enemy knights or stuff

That’s ironic, because even in KotOR 2's broken state, it’s one of the best Star Wars properties in the franchise, with some of the best storytelling in video games.

Oh, and just to comment on the ACTUAL scheduling controversy here - it kind of sucks, but is sort of the cost of having an open and free professional system Valve has created compared to the tightly-managed system some companies like Riot use for their games.

There’s massive pitchforking on reddit at the moment, with all of the collective brainpower that usually entails, and this whole incident is actually probably a good example of why people really need to stop leaning on Reddit as the One & Only Portal For Interacting With Your Community. It’s just a massive slavering

His off-the-field stuff really meant a lot, he did a lot for people, and knowing that is what makes this sting so much for me.

Ayyy, yes!

Yeah, that *definitely* sounds like a you thing.

Yeah, that *definitely* sounds like a you thing.

Or they’re just goofing off, geez. Overwatch is such a light and fluffy game. Like, I really don’t want to judge your game but if hearing Mercy go ‘Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.” makes you that miserable and angry, as much as someone being actively hostile or flaming, then that sounds like a you thing.

Not to mention, Franklin is like a non-character. He’s given little development or motivation. You get a lot of setup with him like, trying to earn some money and trying to be a legitimate law-abiding person, then he gets tangled up with Lamar, and with Michael and stuff, then it just... nothing happens.

I mean, the story is really really lackluster. Of the three characters, one of them doesn’t really have a story and has effectively nothing happen to him really. The other is basically a meta-character of a GTA protagonist who is barely a character, and the third character is actually basically the primary protagonist

Right, just wanted to be clear that you’re relieved that criticism of yourself is being diverted by some other dude’s hypocrisy, and not because you actually give a shit. Thanks

What’s your point? That some people are hypocritical or dishonest? No shit. ‘Ladies’ don’t need your helpful advice here, dude. We know. We have always known. That there are guys who are actually kinda shitty despite presenting otherwise is not new.

I forget the origin of the quote, but I remember a good one about “Amazing how thousands of stories of flying saucers & alien abductions dry up when everyone now carries a camera in their pocket at all times - and the inverse happens with incidents of police brutality.”

Not sure what the point is? ‘Some people are dishonest or hypocrites?’ Yeah, it’s unfortunate that some guys have ulterior motives or don’t match their behavior with their rhetoric. No shit. I’m not sure how that makes guys who are openly misogynistic or unsupportive of women any better. This doesn’t really

Art style is big. Not being able to name your stuff was a huge issue as well. Districts in general felt sort of unwieldy, and the AI was just atrociously bad. The risk analysis it had was bugged for like 8 months to where it would never take a city, because it overvalued the damage its own units would take if you

Civ games have been some of my favorite games for ages but Civ 6 is the first time where I was like ‘eh, whatever.’ I played two or three games of it, and then uninstalled it and went back to Civ 5 whenever I’ve had a Civ itch.I don’t know that it’s something Firaxis can fix at this point, but I guess I remain

I was basically casting orcs for warchief positions in the first one. I wanted guys who looked cool in a way I could appreciate, had neat looking weapons, and good personalities I could appreciate. All towards the goal of producing the coolest bestest warchiefs.
