This is no change....there has always been hillside GA for events.

IMO, Turn 1 is the best view. You get to see the action down the front straight, up the hill, down the hill, AND a good 40-50% of the rest of the track from that vantage point. Sat there multiple times for events and had a blast.

Wait....you watched that video and actually got something other than a long weird intro and esoteric statements in the less than 10 minutes minute that ‘took over a year’?

Subaru Crosstrek/Impreza. Yes, it is an ecomomy compact. No, it is not fast. But “dangerously” slow as comment sections such as Jalopnik’s tend to claim? Yeah, that’s ridiculous hyperbole made by folks who think all cars need to perform like sports cars (sports cars that said commenters have likely never driven).

I can’t remember seeing a car where one color looks sooooo bad (maroon) and one looks something between ok and good (silver). The fake black corner vents on the front of the maroon version certainly add to the disparity.

So my dad was a dealer back in the late 80s when he came home with a new Taurus demo that was the first car I had ever seen with this feature. I was 8ish at the time, curious, and really excited to get in the car to head out for pizza while waiting for the rest of the family to get ready....

Have had my doors blown off by this car on the interstate here.....not to critique anyone’s driving, but let’s just say those ponies have been rode hard.....

Anyone else feel the cake bust showstopper was a bit too “Food Network-y”? A bit over the top and unattainable given the limitations. I felt all that was missing was a curveball being thrown mid bake.

I’m so confused why they didn’t use a side offset plate for this.....

Ha....my original wording ended with “unless you are scared of getting run down by politicians on their way to Pierre” but I decided to show restraint!

I’m from SD and know that area well.  There is zero reason to be scared to stop on the highway at night there.

As someone who has hit deer and is very, very familiar with Hwy 14 through South Dakota....there is approximately 0% chance he thought he hit a deer.

Had dinner with a senior exec a few years back, and it came up that we had made a deposit on a few Nikola trucks. My immediate reply was “Well might as well go ahead and write that loss off now.” Fast forward a few years and.....yep, still not shocked they haven’t produced anything “real” yet....

Had a fun Valentine’s dinner with our CEO 3 years ago where I recommended writing off the deposits we had just put down on Nikola semis since the company is vaporware and we will never see one.  3 years later....yep, still consider it a write off.

Umm....what happened to the fake C-pillar in the headline photo?  Is it removable?

Xenoblade Chronicles....so many hours of Xenoblade Chronicles....

Not so much a counterpoint as a side argument....

And when spoken, it must be combined to one 3 syllable word: westriver....pronounced wes-triver.

250k in Sioux falls (Brandon is a suburb) and was a regular draw for all of eastern SD, northwest Iowa, and Southwest MN. So in other words, a good place for dirt track.

Was stock, street stock, 350 and outlaw sprints for a long time. Fast track. The barriers you are looking at are actually about ten feet inside the racing surface and slightly elevated. Not how it would be done today but rarely saw a car catch one.  On a high banked dirt track things collect to the outside wall when
