Thank God,

Hell, it would help if companies were not allowed to deduct the cost of fines from their income for tax purposes. Fines should not be a cost of doing business, and that goes for more than fast food operators. Let’s make Wells Fargo explain to shareholders why earnings per share have dropped so much.

This seems like a no-win for Apple. If they acknowledge its shortcomings on darker skin, the shit-stirrers will label it a “White Man’s Watch” or some such shit, and make Apple appear to be racially insensitive. If they ignore the poor function on darker skin, they get sued for its poor function on darker skin.

I suppose there is irony in the fact that for the rest of this man’s life, no matter what he does, he will never escape a single Star Wars thing he did years ago.

This is the correct answer. No thanks

But Rian, we want to see more of your relationship with Star Wars!

So the punishment is they can’t use Bird scooters if they don’t pay their $0.55 tab, I fail to see the incentive for the debtor to pay.

From the people who incessently complain, “Government can’t do anything right,” comes... government insurance!
