The irony is that the gauges in the Ferrari (a real one or the replica in the movie) are all separate units that are held into the dashboard with like two knurled nuts and a bracket. Unscrew them, the gauges come right out the front of the dash, the glass unscrews, and you roll the numbers…
As much as I love Buffy and even with all the Whedon drama, would still call it one of my favorite shows, this does not make me sad. I’m not glad for it either. I’m really more like, “Probably for the best.” 🤷♀️
Poor Mia Sara. She has the worst role in the film. She’s just there to be pretty and cock block any potential sexual chemistry between Matthew Broderick and Alan Ruck (she is unsuccessful). Then her character has to be excited that one day she’ll marry Ferris. Ugh.
The series finale was perfect, insofar as establishing Slayer-hood as a ‘gift’ imparted to many Potentials across the globe, thus ending the burden of “the ONE chosen” and introducing the idea that securing peace is a shared responsibility - still expected of women, of course. Not sure what a reboot would do with that…
Ferris shows up at Cameron’s front door one day, pleading with him to recreate their famous “day off” because it was the last really good day Ferris can remember having. He even has delusions of using this scheme to get back with his girlfriend, who broke up with him after she got into Harvard and moved out of state,…
It’s rather funny that this has a bigger legacy than the show itself, since Ally McBeal never had much of a syndicated rerun life.

I feel like you’re missing a vast unexplored territory. Sure, this has clear utility, at the baseball game, at the carnival, at the mall. But think broader!
It worked for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.
How about instead of this we get the movie where 15 years later, Cameron finally faces the fact that Ferris is a figment of his imagination, a projection of who he really wishes he could be. And then he starts franchising Fight Clubs across the country with Edward Norton.
Never noticed before, but he’s obviously a vampire.
The right time means when they need a big smoke screen (after they can’t milk the fact that it happened anymore).
Right after his taxes.
“at the right time”
Is that his version of his Dad’s “in the next 2 weeks?”
They’ll probably run one piece of footage backwards to show “evidence being planted”.
I mean, yeah. After he has it edited, a soundtrack added, and puts it on pay-per-view...
Is Google even a thing?
I would’ve HAD to look. Like when you find an old carton of milk, and you know it’s spoiled, but you just gotta smell it before you throw it out.
Since I don’t see anyone writing articles where they say their kids brown bag it, I am assuming that bento boxes are mandatory for school kids now?
