Oh, but that doesn't mean she isn't bat-shit insane. I don't need a twitter account (fake or real) to tell me that.

If you look at the info for that Twitter account, you see the following statement: "SATIRE :: THIS IS NOT MICHELE BACHMANN'S TWITTER ACCOUNT." So, it's not like they're even trying to fool you.
I think the "semi-glossy" screen is the same as the current nook/Kindle e-ink screens. I have the first gen nook and every once in a while have to adjust the angle if there's a light shining directly on it. I'm pretty sure the Kindle is the same way. I can't imagine it's *anything* like an LCD screen.
I know I just did.
When I do it, it's usually because I completely forgot that I was still holding it. It's like when you spend 5 minutes looking for your car keys before realizing that they're already in your hand.
I am really looking forward to seeing that category in the Double Jeopardy round tonight. It seems like they almost can't *not* have it if they're really intending to test Watson. Then again, I would bet that the programmers have worked on it specifically, as well.
Not the slightest connection to Stephen King, no. Sorry to burst your bubble. But this game was awesome anyway. You can play a flash version of it here: [www.hotflashgames.com]
For those of us here in the States, the alarm would actually wake us an hour EARLY once Daylight Saving Time ENDS on November 7. #corrections
@DeadlyDad: I watch a lot of Good Eats. I even try to remember a lot of what I see! Hasn't helped my cooking skills any. :)
This graphic is going to be out of date soon. Massachusetts' no-texting-while-driving law goes into effect next week.
@volim: Some people are good at making up recipes as they go and using their tongue to adjust. Some people are not. It's an art, and not everyone has the skill, instinct, or talent for it. Like me. That's who the cooking apps are for.
I'm confused about AirPlay. Is it only on the iPad, not my iPhone? Am I streaming from my computer to my iOS device, or the other way around? Do I have to have a Mac to take advantage of it, or will it work with my PC? The information given seems very vague to me.
@Natemx: Just to be clear, the song is from Avenue Q (the adult Sesame Street musical.) This WoW version is fun, but I think it's even better when you realize it's being sung by a sweet girl Muppet and Cookie Monster.
I just recently got a new pillow after I realized how gross and flat mine was (it was pretty old.) I found out they make "side-sleeper" pillows now! They're firmer, and have gusseting on the sides so they don't taper and mush down quite as much right where I'm putting the most pressure on it. It is SO AWESOME. I…
Edit. Never mind. I read the article and your comment more carefully and I realized I misunderstood.
@komododave: As long as this app doesn't proactively stop your music (very few do these days) you could do both at the same time - and you probably could even without iOS 4. But, you really shouldn't have headphones in while you're riding a bike, tsk.
@iridius: The linked article(s) say that the library is mostly for three sisters - and that is one of their bedrooms. I can see a 9-year old girl wanting her bedroom neon. (They also got a shared bathroom with 3 sinks! Man, kids these days.)
@warmsoju: Maybe this picture will convince you. [www.archdaily.com]
@Philanthropy: She's a "great-aunt" because her nephew has a daughter. This just means that she probably has a sibling who is a lot older than her and had a child (the nephew) who is only 10-15 years younger than her.
@blash: Buying the cheaper Wi-Fi only version IS your discount, I would think.
