It needs to be noted here that what Best Buy is giving away is NOT the full invisibleSHIELD product that covers the front and back of the phone, but the "4FIX" that covers the SIDES only.

@ryoshi: No, it's actually a really bright Halloween-y kind of orange. My biggest problem with it is that you can't really use 3rd party headphones or dock connector cables with it, because the openings are so small.
@ryoshi: Want my orange one? Or is that included in the "Easter-Egg-Vomit" range?
I'm glad to know these are just coming through automatically for those who already ordered them. I was under the impression from last week we'd have to "apply" for it somewhere on the Apple website.
@Josh Southern: You mean like this Gizmodo article from just a couple months ago? [gizmodo.com]
@AEchinoderm: When I got my nook, I very quickly got used to hitting the Page Forward button as I started reading the last line on the page. Same concept, just as smooth reading comprehension.
@achalddave: I use the CC: field for recipients who I don't expect/need a reply from or action to be taken, but who I felt needed to get the information anyway. I often send email To: several folks letting them know I've dropped their blank accreditation renewal paperwork in the mail, the date it's due, and that the…
I am still.. STILL.. fighting the "Reply to all" battle with coworkers. It's 2010, people. YOU SHOULD KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BY NOW.
@zelannii: What is BnK? I think you mean Barnes & Noble, which should be B&N, or BKS (their stock symbol.) I didn't realize who you were talking about the first time I read your comment.
@balloondoggle: I actually just did a little poking around, and it seems like the new ones going out have a thin strip of metal underneath the button for reinforcement. So maybe I'll call for a replacement sooner rather than later. Last time I had it replaced I did the "rapid replacement," which meant they took my…
@balloondoggle: Cracked button - is this still a widespread problem? I've already replaced mine once, but 3 months later it cracked again. I decided just to wait and see how bad it gets this time. It's about 4/5 of the way across the bezel at this point. :(
@mobgma: Giz featured the Grovemade cases a couple days ago. I fell in love and preordered one. [gizmodo.com]
@Spinnyd: We have one of these. [www.smxscreen.com] (Acoustically transparent cause our speakers are behind the screen.)
@AndrosZ: What you lose is brightness, not resolution. And brightness depends on the screen, ambient light, and lamp age, and to a lesser degree room decor. Movie theaters would be out of business if a picture lost that much quality just because it was being projected.
@Who Shot Who in the What Now?: Errr, okay. Have you never been to a Superbowl party? We also have killer Rock Band parties (yes, the video game), and movie nights. Our friends keep coming over, so we must be doing something right...
@AndrosZ: Yup. It's actually a 129" wide 2.37:1 ratio screen, but the 16:9 portion of it is 111" diagonally. It's painful to watch regular DVD's on it (as opposed to Blu-Rays), never mind SD TV.
@xaronax: It's even worse in my basement home theater. Curse you, 111" screen!
@LastOne: Man, they wouldn't be my friends for long. I would just get rid of them if they can't respect that line!
@SketchCritic: It was included in the GM of iOS4, but removed for the final release. The GM was out there for download from various sites if you knew where to look, which sounds like what your friend did.
@SketchCritic: GameCenter isn't due out until this fall. It's not just you.
