Oh my gosh. Perfect.
My mother-in-law is like this. She’s 70 and lives alone in a 4 bedroom/2 car garage house. It is almost entirely filled, plus she has a storage unit (or units?). She recently “cleared” out a room for my husband and I to stay in the interim between selling our house and finding a new place. This room is still mostly…
I have seen those light diffusers before! Those are neat.
On the other hand, because “voilà” is used as an interjection, I think many people wouldn’t necessarily look it up (just as they wouldn’t look up how to spell “ta-da.”
It definitely does not. ETA: But you can make what appears in the picture if you use a broken glowstick.
Totally agree...it’s one thing to be weirded out by it, and even for journalists to say stuff like that. The police should not be editorializing about it.
From what I could find, it is an at-home thing you can do...if you break open a glowstick. Apparently, that’s where the initial picture was from, and when I was searching trying to find this one, I found the site where they give the instructions to make the actual thing.
Haha! Me too. I try not to be judge-y about it, since all it really indicates is a lack of exposure to seeing that word written, and I know that I have words that I know by sound but have no idea how to spell (I’m a really bad speller).
I’m assuming so, yes.
why older people think you can believe everything you read online
Where did you get a picture of my step sister-in-law?!?
trying to feign just the right amount of appreciation so as not to seem rude but also not end up with something as a gift
Men women; boys girls; guys gals.
Does it even work? If so, why???
Yeah, I was rolling my eyes the whole way through the article...but then I realized, I was NEVER their target, so if they “missed” with me, they don’t care.
My guess is that they first got a Facebook account in 2009 and went wild uploading old photos.
Some friends had a baby a little over a year ago and instituted a similar policy. It sounds like they are more strict than you (a family member once posted a picture from a gathering and the baby was in the background, which resulted in the picture being immediately pulled down). While I think they are little over…
This is an entirely different situation than yours based on this comment.
