in North Carolina they gave me prenatal vitamins at the court house when I went to get the marriage license. They also gave me some kind of pamphlet on a healthy pregnancy

Me too. :(

But when my husband and I got married (in TX), we weren't ever told or encouraged to have babies...

I'd love to see some stats and commentary about how much lawn work women do. Mowing the lawn and such as that has always been the man's job as much as dishes have been the woman's, and no one seem to be raising much fuss.

Sigh. Deep down, I know that. A little part of me always wants to hope for extreme ignorance rather than deliberate hatefulness.

They didn't even try with the language. (Or, equally likely, they knew exactly what they were doing and are terrible, terrible people.)

Sorry, your reply makes no sense. If a man doesn't want to have sex with a woman, he can totally turn it down. It is not the same as turning down a job.

Totally agree. Also, many men seem to miss the point that they also have the same power. If a woman wants to have sex with a man, and the man doesn't want to, then the woman doesn't get the sex.

Maybe the fact that you are relying on a job to make a living intended for high school and college students

*eye roll* I was the biggest goody two shoes ever, and I had been skinny dipping before I graduated.

Reminds me of: (Why is the picture not showing up? It's supposed to be Whiplash, the Cowboy Monkey)

If she is dog-napped, it definitely wasn't me.

I think my dog knows (or I'm in extreme denial to make myself feel better). Before her surgery, she just kind of tolerated me (she was my husband's dog first), and now we are BFFs.

My primary reason for owning a dog is hugs and kisses. When she is sick or hurt, it kills me. She had surgery a few years ago, and thoughts of how to keep her comfortable totally consumed my life. It killed me that she must be so confused and scared.

The point is, it's inappropriate for these things to be brought up in this context. If a loved one is concerned about health, then than is a topic that can be discussed privately (and is still often touchy).

singling out only girls and even asking some to bend over because, in her words, "If you're not comfortable with bending over, we might have a problem."

It is considered slutty to walk around in short shorts.

That's what I always thought too...

Today, I found out they make Butterfinger Cups (like Reese's Cups). Highly recommend.

Yep, I should have known he was a troll, but got sucked in anyway.
