Sorry, I don't follow your argument.

Whose birth control do you pay for? ARE YOU BEING EXTORTED FOR BIRTH CONTROL?

This is about him cosponsoring a bill to make those forms of birth control totally unavailable. Even if paying with your own money.

Somehow it doesn't have the same ring as "freshly squeezed orange juice."

That's not what I said. Your reading comprehension is bad.

I need the Wasabi Ginger and Mango Salsa NOW. I'm not totally writing of the cappuccino though. I've known people who dip their fries in chocolate shakes and this seems kind of similar. Probably not my style though.

I agree with you on the prosecution part-to me there is no way she should have been arrested.

Speculating on whether I have kids or not just seemed really unnecessary. When you say something like that, it sounds dismissive (I'm not trying to be rude). If you take that sentence out, your point is still the same, the only thing it serves to do is put a qualifier on my thoughts.

When did I say I read all the comments? I said I read some, and there were many people putting forth that opinion.

Can you please direct me to where I said it should be illegal? Just to save you some time, I didn't. My comments are addressing the added stress of poverty (sometimes called "bandwidth poverty" because you are using so much energy just to function that everything becomes stressful).

First of all, I'm glad that you are 10 years past your diagnosis and hope you are doing well. I didn't mean to imply I'm a drooling nincompoop who would ask questions like the ones you mentioned. I just meant the simple things like not saying "I'm sorry" but rather asking what can be done to help.

An applicant's PAI score is based on two essays and a Personal Achievement Score (PAS).

The PAS score ranges from 1 to 6 as well, and is based on holistic consideration of six equally-weighted factors: leadership potential, extracurricular activities, honors and awards, work experience, community service, and special circumstances. JA 379 a. The "special circumstances" factor is broken down into seven

I did read the original story. I also never said that she was abandoned. Yes, she may have been "welcome" to sit at a table in McDonalds, but I've got to imagine that there are certain things that you can do at home (take a nap, sing at the top of your lungs, run around) that her mom's boss wouldn't have been happy

Well, I did misremember it:

I was addressing your question of "were her grades and test scores lower?"

I seem to recall reading (when the case initially went to the supreme court) that they did release the data, and her grades and SATs were lower than the AA admissions. Even if should would have gotten the same "bump" for being an underrepresented minority, she still would not have gotten in.

every high school grades differently

That was my thought too, UTD is a pretty good school.
