There is a little dollop of tryhard, isn’t there? I think it’s hard for me to believe a what, 25 year old wants to dress in grandma’s Gucci slacks that’s hard for me to believe.

Well, I did say it was both! I believe the carefree attitude. I don’t believe that’s how he wants to dress tbh.

I wonder how much of this is his natural artistic inclination and how much is his marketing team. Like, I believe a lot of it is him, but something about it (his image, the videos, fashion) just doesn’t take.

VELVEETA LIQUID GOLD OR BUST

This sounds like the anecdote one of my girlfriends would tell me over drinks, after which we’d both agree that it was a sign she should’ve called things off sooner, “but he was so hot!”

That’s how I feel as well with the exception of some (tasteful!!) n00dz.

I’m not worried about the noise, it’s having 3 people in an 800 sq ft apartment with 1 bathroom that poses the problem.

How did you feel later? I worry about seeing my s/o from a distance because it might make us both sadder, and more frustrated. Him more than me, though, I think.

I’m assuming it’s not practical or possible for you all to shack up together for a few weeks, huh?

Are you all having naughty video chats? I haven’t reached that point yet, it just feels too awkward, even though we have PG rated video almost daily.

Ugh, I am preemptively stressed on your behalf about that plane ride. Stay safe! I’m not judging.

I am already sharing a small apartment with a friend, it wouldn’t be comfortable. But if she plans on breaking quarantine this weekend like she’s considered (ugh), then he’s definitely bunking with me for a while.

Man, I wish I’d seen this thread earlier. I’ve been in a serious relationship with a man for 3 months; he’s trustworthy, communicative, and responsible—and he’s the best sex I’ve ever had. We isolated separately and... shit is rough. We’ve held off since early March because his housemate works at a hospitalalthough

IMO she needs conflict to write a good song. And pop made her complacent, lyrically. And clearly the #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty thing really did a number on her psyche, so she’s withdrawn intentionally to avoid more criticism and hate. So... if she’s not going to be a celebrity (a fair decision), or write Red-grade

This thread is 6 years old but I’ll reply. How do you know people who aren’t white have relatives in other countries? I don’t.

I don’t really think that changes that they’re still considered celebrities. Maybe my opinion of the British is too low (Americanized?) but I’m willing to bet more of them know what Meghan Markle wore to an event than her opinion on a social issue for example. Like... The intention of the royals is different than how

I understand what the intention behind royals are. But the reality is more layered. You can be a publicly funded figurehead and a celebrity.

kokoandyumyum’s question is super valid. What do you think is the difference between tabloids in the UK and the US? I mean, I know we elected a celebrity and all, but... (hahahahahahaha kill me)

I think when you have crowds of people eager to peep at your newborn baby, or read about how you entered/exited your vehicle at an event, or make merch off your public wedding, you become a celebrity regardless of what you’re “meant to be.”

Aunt Becky’s daughter posted YouTube videos about how she’s not a school person, skipped the first day to go on a yacht, etc. because she was more focused on modeling. But college IS a scam, so she’d probably pass or keep switching majors or drop when it didn’t matter anymore lololol
