Have you seen her in Atypical? It could not be further from her role or this film but she’s such a great actress, it’s a shame what that show reduces her to. Still cute to watch, though.

Suits was my dorm’s favorite thing to watch during the first 3 seasons. All USA shows are like that, honestly: You don’t feel like trash for watching it but it doesn’t require a lot of brainpower, either.

Possibly! I do think that’s why she and Karlie aren’t seen hanging out together anymore. If she doesn’t want people to think they’re dating (whether the rumors are true or not), then she can’t put out songs like Dress or Gorgeous AND be seen cavorting around with her gorgeous best friend.

I don’t really see meanspirited queerbaiting to be Taylor’s schtick.

If nothing else I appreciate that she doesn’t care if people think she’s gay. Dress’ references to not wanting someone like a best friend is especially surprising to me since everyone knows she and Karlie are besties. But all the gender-neutral songs on there are also notable.

Plus, it might be kind of hard for them. I think even the most well-adjusted surrogate might feel awkward to be around people that are soooo excited about a baby that you’re giving up.

I used to feel this way about guys sometimes when I was 19, 20 or so. I’m Taylor’s age now so I can relate to it in that I think the song is kind of cute and funny but it’s not a great song. I really wish she’d just collaborated with Grimes on this whole album since it seems that’s the angle she’s going for. Spooky mellow pop with a dark twist sometimes.

I love myself some overdone Taylor Swift analysis, but I’m pretty sure this song is just a lyrical form of Louise Belcher experiencing her first crush and thinking he’s so hot she wants to slap him.
