The farm is a dead dog! The dogs are just puritan fleas. That die when they touch water. And Nicole Kidman is involved somehow.

Ok, if we’re being this pedantic about the incorrect use of birds in American logos, shouldn’t we be petitioning for the outright removal of the Bald Eagle from all logos, crests and seals since - thanks to overhunting and rampant habitat destruction, it was nearly wiped out from America and is now more common in

This is a moral conundrum for me. I’m a cat lover, but then I’m an animal lover in general. I feel that (in most cases) a cat is a hunter-killer that would be happier being able to go out and hunt if it so wished, and that it would be cruel to restrict a hunting animal with a natural radius of over a mile to an indoor

Only one sword though. Hopes deleted.

[grabs a bucket of popcorn and settles in]

Yeah, bafflingly in most other democracies this is called ‘corruption’ and can carry enormous fines and a prison sentence. But in America it’s been the way things were done since the days of proud slave owners donating to politicians to ignore the obvious humanitarian repercussions. Some things will never change.

It angered me for the first few hours of gameplay but after that I realised it was awesome because it meant I was constantly rationing my weapons and going off to hunt for replacements. It meant I never got bored because I didn't always have a high-ranking weapon to god-mode my way through a hoarde - I had to pick

They had to go, their planet needed them.

Google can’t even keep Play working reliably. And they’ve abandoned Android TV and ripped the lifeless heart out of Nest. Chromecast still has dire bugs that were never fixed. My Android Wear has been crippled by recent half-baked updates and we're still waiting for features teased in the original announcement. I’ve

My brother once worked in a jewellery shop, and got training on spotting fake Rolexes that scammers would come in daily to try to sell as the real thing. The funny thing is, some of them actually worked BETTER than a Rolex, they just looked slightly less good. That's the danger with fake Rolexes - they make them so

I have a solar powered watch. The movement is much more accurate than a Rolex, it picks up the world clock transmissions, and it'll work for as long as the sun exists. And it cost 3% of a gaudy Rolex. It even looks better, though that's a matter of personal taste.

Well it’s kind of like the old immigration forms that used to ask people if they intend to commit an act of terrorism during their visit: nobody’s going to tick ‘yes’. I've had hundreds of social media profiles all with different email addresses and usernames, and I'm totally law abiding. Anyone who poses a real

Trump should be first in line for these types of screenings. He's directly decried the First Amendment this week - that kind of foamy rant alone would be enough to get a hard working immigrant thrown into a concentration camp on the border.

I want a modern spec PC in the body of a c.2005 Mac Pro. Is that so hard, Apple? Oh, wait, I can do it myself for £3,000 less? Deal. 😁

He’s also calling for the destruction of an institution of the press, which is obvious disrespect for the First Amendment. Lucky for him the amendment forbids Congress from getting in the way of the press, rather than the whole of the government.

Easy online bookings notwithstanding, I actually prefer calling my favourite places to make bookings. Good customer service is part of the reason why I go to places, and that starts with the phone call. My barber is great on the phone and we chat about availability and timings and what I want. Restaurants will ask me

Give it a few more months - there's something big coming from Intel... ;-)

4k is literally 4x the amount of pixels as 1080p.”

I've read all the Game of Thrones books, but I skipped all but the first two seasons of Game of Thrones because the subscription to Sky in the UK was too expensive. I've skipped a bunch of shows and films that everyone else is talking about simply because it's too expensive and I feel like I'm getting played.

I don't know why so many people are reacting negatively to your keen observation. It's an important clarification. This whole news item feels very unscientific and very PR-y.
