Is there somewhere I can go to ‘try before I buy’?

Isn't this a paraphrase of the first chapter of Mein Kampf?
Do they have the IP / copyright sign off? So many Kickstarters vanish because they get sent a cease and desist notice.
Sadly, my money is on the producers deciding to stick with the nostalgia crutches and bring the Discovery back to another relatable part of the overall Trek timeline. Either back to the original tineline, a parallel timeline (similar in premise to the Kelvin timeline) or a part of the TNG-era timeline.
If one blast door (with a window, no less) is enough to comfortably contain a point blank photon torpedo explosion, then why aren’t all ships made entirely out of blast doors?
100% agree. The original films were successful because they were Wild West / Samurai films set in space. All this resurrection midichlorian fabric of the universe stuff just undermines the plot and highlights the lazy inconsistencies in the Star Wars universe. These days it’s less of a series of gripping films and…
It's the thing I hate the absolute most about Star Trek, a universe that I generally love.
Interstellar portrays relativity well for someone who skim-read some Popular Science articles about relativity, but it all falls apart beyond the basic concepts. And the plot is full of holes so dense they have their own gravity.
They promise wealth and power early on to snare people. Like some sort of hybrid self-help book and pyramid scheme.
I worry that she isn't insane, she's just trapped in the cult. At first glance they seem friendly and helpful, but as soon as you're signed up you essentially can't escape without being abused. I'm sadly hoping that she's one of those people who's smart enough to know them for what they are but too scared to talk…
I’m counting! For weeks they’ve been hyping ‘first ever photo of a black hole’ and instead what we get is ‘latest visualisation of a set of radio signals from a black hole’. That’s NOT a photo by any definition. At best, it’s a ‘radio’, at worst, it’s a graph.
Headline should be 'World's biggest space polluter chides someone else for making a little mess.' Half the reason why we're not doing more with people in orbit right now is because it's so dangerous thanks to NASA's lack of concern about the junk it's left up there over the years.
Please don’t say cork is sustainable. It’s actually not, and over-farming of cork is causing serious knock-on effects with the local eco-system, not to mention being wasteful to process and mould. Rubber used to make foam rollers often also comes from latex sourced from trees. Please read up on it and educate your…

I find it very hard to believe that nobody on that flight was a regular business commuter and didn't notice that they took off in the wrong direction and turned North instead of East. I make regular flights to Germany and with all the visual landmarks, coastline and the normal position of the sun in the sky, I'd…
I’m guessing that Google’s going to see what game publishers say now that the project is public and opinions can be gauged, then fix pricing and model based on those conversations.
Wish Nintendo would port the storyline into the BOTW engine and release on Switch.
This was an established point of view some 25 years ago when I was first learning about planetary motion in grade school. In fact, I'm pretty sure it was a known fact at least dating back to the modern Orrery model in 1706, and possibly even as far back as 150 BC when planetary motion was first projected reliably.…
Retrograde motion has been an established element of basic astronomy for at least 1000 years. Why is this news?
As much as I love shows that cross-reference other episodes and weave plots in unexpected ways, I’m disappointed that Discovery is leaning so hard on nostalgia and legacy characters when there’s so much potential to lay new ground. I lost a lot of interest in Burnham when it turned out she was Spock’s adopted sister…
Fortnite was a very different game back then.
