Needs moar La Jetée.
Needs moar La Jetée.
Couldn't resist. :)
You're sneeringly grammar Nazi-ing an accepted informal usage and flubbing its/it's in the same breath? Literally mindblowing.
James Joyce, Jane Austen and F. Scott Fitzgerald, among others, said it was OK decades ago.
Fair points. I don't necessarily have a problem with him being mopey, it's the bad writing in this regard that takes the wind out of the sails. The "where do whores go" device was blah the first five or six times and precipitously downhill the ten or so times afterwards.
Tyrion mopily wondering where whores go absolutely crushes my spirit by about the 9th time. When you can turn one of the best characters into one of the most tedious, something's gone off the rails a bit.
On an unrelated side note, I've put up with all his killing off of sympathetic characters to date, but when/if Martin kills off Brienne (and to a lesser extent Arya), I'm going to track him down and shave off his beard forcibly.
Yeah, in the books she's totes and unambiguously in love with Renly:
My view was always that Brienne is steadfast, and that her heart would only ever belong to Renly, leavened only by her loyalty to Catelyn
Hey. Huffpo and Buzzfeed would at least spell "fuel" right.
Fuck you, Jezebel, for reminding me that Kreayshawn exists. For that, I am going full MRA.
Thank you for this kindness.
I refuse to believe that Dodai, on whom I have a crush, would make such a mistake.
I think I'd go with "free rein" over "free reign," personally.
Love me some Game of Thrones but not willing to buy a TV, subscribe to cable, and then purchase HBO in order to watch it. Come join us in the 21st century, HBO. I'm here waiting for you to take my money.
Some, if not many, antivaxxers are assholes.
Dear Dodai:
Not liking Game of Thrones in either book or show form makes you A Bad Person. Seriously. Get over your over-it contrarianism and ride the bull, college boy.
I agree, it's a serious matter. Joking about it — or worse, exploiting it for cheap political gain and turning it into a silly sideshow for over a year — would be something only someone ethically and morally bankrupt would do.
