The aesthetics portion is probably referring to its wood construction, instead of the design itself. I agree if it was made of steel, this bridge isn't particularly good looking.

daddy likey finky

Oh, that K-Truss can get it

I’m no engineer either, so I’d finish that bridge and say “well that’s not going anywhere” and treat myself to some Aquavit and salted cod for a job well done.

I’m no engineer, in fact I failed out of Engineering school, but it looks to me like all the diagonals go the same direction, while if you look at the chart of trusses they all have diagonals going in different directions.

That is such and ugly bridge anyways, they worried about looks? more like costs.

This is great news for car enthusiasts. But can we be real about Texas? I just completed my last ever visit to Texas (El Paso-Marfa-Fredericksburg-Vidor-Houston-Dallas). It is a full-on fascist state. The government is obsessed with encouraging citizens to turn against their neighbors (or shoot them). Everyone can

We can add Kei trucks to the growing list of things that have more rights than women in Texas.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Even in Texassland.

I would like to volunteer my human services in removing the accidentally deposited lunch from this creek. I will use my large, clawed, human hands to swipe the fish out of the creek, then remove them professionally,

You’re a god damned genius. They would sell at least two.

How can Nissan not see that the IDx is the car that could save what is left of their reputation? Hell, if they don’t make it someone else should just steal the design and make it.

I’d suspect that prior to being driven in salt water, rust was probably a minor concern in Kuwait. But I could be wrong.

Pleeeease... It could literally be anything!

We must find these increasingly rare instances of wide bipartisan agreement where we can!

Time to expand the tire department!

Add the interest on the service plan as these are often added to the monthly payment and this looks even worst

Yup. I’ve bought a variety of new cars and all of them offered those plans. I did some quick napkin math in front of the first few and they would save maybe ~$100 off the total cost, but cost anywhere from $1000-$1200 up front and that wasn’t including the always common oil change coupons out there. They tried to
