I’ll never understand why people choose to drive cars in urban open-world games that have a lot of traffic. Bikes are way faster to get around in because they can easily cut through traffic.

Jalopnik aggregating an Autopian article has a real full-circle feeling about it.
I’m just grateful it wasn’t a slideshow.
The movie is like watching a fan edit of some really good looking cut-scenes from a game; a game where anything actually interesting happens during gameplay.
The characters are all just so thin, like there’s just no depth to anyone and they’re loaded with tropes. Which may have some appeal, I guess, but after a while it just gets silly. Everyone just feels incredibly generic.
I give ‘em a half-point for switching up one character, sorta, except they lose a full point for…
You do realize the fundamental flaw of this mindset, right? And it only becomes more flawed with each passing day.
Attempting to establish an original, engrossing science-fiction world is no small task, even for the most adept of writers, and it’s painfully clear that Snyder took heavy aesthetic and stylistic notes from genre classics like Star Wars and Dune, without understanding the story and emotional beats that made those…
To be fair, I don’t think it’s possible to find any old American tradition that wasn’t either founded on racism or had long standing racist practices, but it is interesting to see the weird ways that impacted things still popular today. A certain dance style become a nationwide mandate because a rich racist confused…
No it’s not.
A turkey to go along with your roast chicken!
This is kinda comical when you put it together on the post about Edmunds Blazer EV.
Subject to a mechanical inspection, tentative NP. It is fun, it is offbeat, it appears to have had the major stuff done to keep it as a runner, and even with a ruined seat (not the hardest thing in the world to replace, or just use the cover) it is probably worth that little bit more. If it all checks out, then I…
You raise a great point– it makes sense for airplanes that expand and contract during each flight, but these are fresh trucks that are being manufactured with this defect and then welded up. (To be clear I am agreeing with you just adding my two cents because I feel obligated to)
Only reason why Altima drivers aren’t on that list is because they don’t have insurance. Tesla drivers are essentially Altima drivers with arguably ‘nicer’ cars, that can afford to insure their vehicles. And Ram drivers being #2 for accidents and the coveted #1 spot for ‘incidents’ come at no surprise to anyone.
Everything about this car is what Elon wishes the Cybertruck was

The person playing Ms. Davis was an actress and was committing to the bit.
True, and to be honest news coverage is kind of the same way, IMO the 24 hour news cycle we live in now is just terrible for people.
The stupid thing about this (and this is not just confined to the automotive business) is that these upper management types (CEOs, Presidents, etc) all either explicitly or implicitly say that their ridiculously high pay is deserved because they are so much smarter than everyone else. But the problem is that they…
Surely it’s going to be sustainable for automakers to keep making knee-jerk decisions just to keep investors happy with short-term profits. I cannot see a single way in which this might possibly backfire.
