Can only speak for me, but... I enjoyed it. I didn’t “hype” (I’ve grown out of that, I find that I enjoy games a lot more if I’m not expecting The Greatest Game EVAR!”), bought it at launch, and played it for 170 hours. And then I moved on to one of the many other big releases that came out at the same time. (just

Nah it’s not that. We are the Atari generation. The only way we know to swing an ax is to slam the button next to the joystick for the Barbarian on Gauntlet.

Has anyone yet looked inside it to see if there is a drain or something for when it rains or goes through a car wash? And does that hinged cover lock when the vehicle is locked so that people cant stuff random crap in there?

Nice ones are rarer than hen's teeth. NP

How else is he supposed to make his deliveries, Steve?

This is a good point to factor in. The last piece of heavy equipment I bought was a Kubota Excavator. New ones were being offered at 0% interest. Used models had a higher rate. Combine that with good resale value and it cost the same to buy a new one.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the party of “fiscal responsibility”, “support the troops”, “law and order”, and “America first”.

That’s a valid point...but the original article never mentions that they are just comparing new MSRP to what seems to be “theroetical” prices on 5 year old cars that just aren’t what the market represents. And while the hybrid models typically command over MSRP, the gas powered cars like Camry, RAV4, Tacoma can be had

Can confirm.

‘Dropped’ works since orbit is a perpetual fall where you continually miss the earth.

I think it’s hilarious when you see the crew cab, short bed versions at home improvement stores with like two 8 ft 2X4s hanging precariously out the back. One, that would fit in any reasonably sized sedan or SUV with the seats down. Two, it’s probably only time the bed will be used that month. Until next month when

A lot of them do (including all Teslas, although they are hidden behind panels).

ODB-II regulations and associated SAE standards are specific to emissions equipment. So yes, EVs are exempt, however, most (maybe all) EVs have ODB-II ports.

My EV (Kona electric) has a OBD2 port.... So does my friend’s Model Y.

I’m a bit taken aback by all the hate, honestly. I loved having a voiced protagonist in my 500+ hours of FO4, and was a little sad that they went backwards on this. I’m not a fan of conversations where one person is speaking out loud and the other is just some text I’m reading off a screen.

Should be slapped across the face if you still have a savings account with one of the major firms only offering 0.5%.  Many, many places offering above 4% these days.  And there are ads for these all over the place.  No excuse for anyone ever remotely in touch.

Could you imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth in this article? “Why would you scrap a perfectly good big-block V8 that made 180 HP on its best day just you can have an EV with enough power to accelerate to highway speed before February?”

The EV conversions actually look like a great idea to me. But if it was me choosing a vehicle to convert, I’d pick a malaise-era land yacht like this:
