The plane had dual engine failure which is EXTREMELY unusual. That immediately makes me think contaminated jet fuel - a couple years ago there were a rash of engine failures due to fuelers accidentally mixing up DEF and jet fuel anti-ice additive Prist. DEF in a jet engine turns to crystals which block the fuel…

In my mind, I’d wonder if that many highway miles would equate to higher than average charge cycles? I have no real reason for thinking that other than higher speed means lower average mileage which means needing more top-offs.
