Must be nice, neither of those is as close to me, nor would they conjure up the images of debauchery that I witnessed growing up and going there on weekends (Cubs games) and late nights (St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, etc.).

I’m still in mourning, and curse that goddamn site every time I go by.

Look, I did read the article, but the title is all I needed, and I’m 100% on board with you. Meteor 2016 didn’t come through for us, but maybe asteroid 52768 will.

It’s a shame Shenmue I&II are going away, because Game Pass is the perfect place for them to be; they’re not for everyone, and even people who want to play them might not be able to make it all the way through (they feel ancient in some ways), but they’re very unique and are worth checking out just out of curiosity. I

I agree and disagree. The Yakuza games are better in a lot of ways, but they don’t nail the random “day in the life” feel of the Shenmue games. Now, would I recommend Shenmue over Yakuza? It would really depend on the gamer; the hokiness of the voice-acting has its own charm, and the slow, goofy gameplay isn’t for

This guy gets it. I know it’s sort of a cop-out to say this, but there’s a reason “Trek” is the second word in the title; the series has always been about exploration of some sort, and that doesn’t really work with the “Hollywood blockbuster” approach (not to mention that I’d argue that Trek is better done on TV, like

It’s going to be very interesting to see if Squeenix can balance the two types of fans we seem to have in the comments here: The ones for whom whatever each game in the Remake series is justified (who aren’t focused on where the games are going) and the ones for whom the entire journey is the point. I can absolutely

The biggest issue with Wendy’s breakfast for me is that they closed all their damn locations in the Loop, so I have 0 chance of trying any of these.

I just saw a thread on Twitter from a person who said they have symptoms that could mean they’re infected, so they reached out to the COVID-19 hotline, and the gist of the thread is that A) the hotline is seemingly worthless (you can’t get through) unless you’re transferred by a doctor B) most doctors don’t know how

Okay, following her on Instagram now. If she’s ever in my area, I’m going to try and get some ink from her; her work is incredible.

You know, I used to scoff at N-A beer (“beer without alcohol? what’s the damn point?!?”), but as I’ve gotten older and more importantly, more health-conscious, the prospect of tricking my mouth into drinking something that’s 0 calories gets more and more attractive. I’m a huge craft beer guy, so I don’t expect that

Yeah, I get that. I just figure if someone is buying a “bag of bacon” from DD, they’ve probably already resigned themselves to the fact that they’re not getting that.

Maybe the regular bacon; they frequently have shit like “sweet pepper bacon” or whatever that’s pretty decent. Although I also have different standards for fast food bacon than, say, a corner meat market’s bacon.

Yeah, exactly! The tech in phones is ludicrous.

I agree, but for a lot of people, that’s the level of productivity they actually need (mostly content consumption). And technically getting something like Dex or whatever it’s called docks your phone and makes it much closer to a functional laptop (if you have a monitor, of course).

Since I upgrade every year I can’t speak to long-term stability, but I will say that I’ve had no complaints with the last 3 or 4 Galaxy phones a year in.

As part of the Greninja Gang, I was pretty happy others saw the light. Greninja rules.

Exactly all this.

I’ve already got a Mewtwo so I can’t 100% pretend to have this frustration, but I’m okay with this.

Honestly, the various types of bacon Dunkin offers are usually the star of their respective sandwiches, so this definitely does seem like a “get to the point” sort of offering.
